Huntly is a quaint Aberdeenshire market town which is home to the impressive Huntly Castle, residence of the Gordon Clan, which is open to the public. In addition, there are good shops, pubs and restaurants clustered around the town square. For those with a keen interest in sport, activities include golf, Nordic skiing on an all-weather track, swimming, angling, biking and walking. Nearby, Moray Firth offers a great chance to explore with its picturesque fishing villages, beaches and cliffs and the Cairngorms National Park.
On arrival through the front door you will find the cosy lounge which offers a TV/DVD, hi-fi, iPod dock and sofa bed. The lounge is a comfortable spot to unwind, read or watch a good film or TV favourite. There is also a selection of DVD's, books and board games to enjoy. The kitchen area overlooking the garden includes an oven and hob, fridge, freezer, Nespresso coffee machine, microwave and dishwasher. Next door is the dining room with ample seating for all the family. Nearby is the utility room: with its washing machine and tumble dryer. Also, on the ground floor, there is a bathroom with shower over bath and WC. On the first floor, there are two comfortable bedrooms: one with a king-size bed and one twin bedroom.
Outside, there is a south facing wall enclosed garden with a patio area which includes ample seating and a BBQ. From the patio area, the well-sized lawn space is great for children as it has play equipment to utilise, as well as a secure shed for sports equipment storage.
