CAST AWAY your stress and worries at this adorable piece of old Florida near BEAN POINT. Charming vintage cottage with LUSH TROPICAL HEATED POOL & SPA area.

Two bedrooms with queen beds, well equipped kitchen, flat screen TVs mounted in each room, full sized washer & dryer, and large front porch with mini fridge all combine as your home base in paradise. Enjoy relaxing moments poolside, beachfront, or exploring the whimsical boutiques in the SUNNY QUAINT VILLAGES on Anna Maria Island.

Everything you need to enjoy your days on the island is at the cottage - just add food & drink + swimsuit & flip flops. We provide a STREET LEGAL GOLF CART (4 seats), beach chairs, beach umbrellas, Wheeleez beach wagon, bicycles, four stand up paddle boards, two-seat kayak, private outdoor shower/changing room with hot & cold water, two gas grills, coolers, and more! After a day at the beach or sightseeing, the private pool/spa awaits - chilled or heated - any time of the year. A 55 inch Smart TV is set up for you to watch your favorite team (or whatever!) while chilling in the pool! Ledge Lounger ice bucket/table in pool splash pad for your drinks.

Don't bring beach towels, paper towels, or toilet paper! We have all the basics (and more) supplied in the kitchen and bathroom. Pack n Play, high chair, booster seat & stroller are in the hall closet for the small ones. Pet dishes in place for your OTHER small ones!

Spices, chocolates, wine, water at each bedside, coffee, and tea complete the arrival necessities. Coffee grinder is also provided.

Located a short leisurely stroll down a charming sandy pathway from Bean Point Beach with sparkling crystal clear water and gorgeous white sand, the cottage locale also provides access to delicious island eateries or come home and grill your own freshly caught fish and DINE AROUND THE POOL. Don’t miss the blackened grouper or scallops at the nearby Waterfront, a classic Philly cheesesteak at Slim's, or a cheeseburger in paradise at Duffy's Tavern!

Sunshine, seashells, sand, surf, and saltwater ☀ - all of the sublime ingredients needed to change your clock to ISLAND TIME!

The host requires you to complete the following before checking out:
Load and start the dishwasher
Gather used towels and store extra beds
Remove personal items and take out the rubbish
Turn off the lights, lock the doors and return the keys
HONOR THE 10AM CHECK OUT TIME The housekeeping staff arrives at 10am to prepare the house for the next guests. ON DEMAND SERVICES Make sure you have logged out of all apps on the TVs (if applicable).
GARBAGE & LEFTOVER FOOD: You may leave unused food/drinks in the kitchen. PLEASE DISCARD ALL RESTAURANT LEFTOVERS. LINENS: It is not necessary to strip the sheets from the beds or wash towels.
RETURN ITEMS TO THEIR PLACE: Return all furniture and décor that was moved during your stay to its original locations, including outdoor furniture. This is a private home. Thank you for your respect.
Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.
Quiet time in our residential neighborhood is from 10pm until 8am. Strict fines are imposed by the city and violators will be removed from property.
To drive the golf cart, guests must be age 25 or older and provide a copy of their driver's license and proof of auto insurance, as well as waiver.
91 days before your arrival all funds refundable < 90 days no refund; If the RA language conflicts with the language found on Vrbo, RA controls.

This place was great! They’ve thought of everything you could possibly need while on vacation. Plenty of pool and beach toys for kids. We loved not needing to rent a golf cart elsewhere and we loved the location. House was clean and perfect for our vacation.

We were greeted by the very friendly host on arrival to give us a tour of the place which was nice. The home was equipped with everything you may need during your stay. The mini fridge out front was a great addition as well as the outdoor shower that we loved! The pool and hot tub were very enjoyable. The walk to the beach was very convenient and such a quick walk. We loved how quiet it was this time of year while sitting out front in the evenings. You could hear the ocean waves from there! Overall, this place had great hospitality and a great location! We are grateful for our stay.

Absolutely loved our stay! House is located well with easy walk to the beach and golf cart made getting to restaurants very convenient and quick. House has been recently renovated after storms in 2024 so it’s in great shape. Being only 800 sq ft it’s a little tight but fine for a family or 3 or 4. Kitchen is well stocked and made it easy to cook when we wanted. Outdoor pool is absolutely fantastic with an outdoor TV, lounge chairs, grills and huge hot tub. They have everything you need for the beach so just bring your swim suit and a toy for the kid and get ready to chill!

This was a great stay. They thought of everything to enjoy our time on Anna Maria Island. Frankly we would’ve needed a month to utilize all of gear and amenities available. The pool area was perfect and we particularly loved the outdoor shower space. Our hosts were super responsive to small requests though we had only one because as mentioned we lacked nothing. So happy we chose this property.

Good island vibes brought us to Anna Maria Island. Great local motion encouraged us to move here. Awesome pool/spa area attracted us to this home. Amazing cottage charm and sweet location near Bean Point Beach sealed the deal. We fell in love with the quiet residential island neighborhood and live next door to Castaway Cottage. Although Castaway Cottage and the exterior spaces are completely private, we are readily available to offer guest assistance, if needed. We work all the time yet are usually on the island - just a quick text away. Whether a romantic getaway or a family vacation, all travelers will find this quiet and unique neighborhood to be a welcoming island home.

What makes this property unique

Short walk to the Rod & Reel Pier and all beaches. The backyard pool and spa = a total tropical delight! Mature landscaping creates a very private atmosphere at the pool area. The pool/spa area and amenities & equipment are all on site and are for the exclusive use of Castaway Cottage guests. The outdoor shower/dressing room is a huge hit with guests! All ground level with a large front porch. Close to Pine Avenue and Gulf Drive eateries & shops! Trolley stops are nearby at The City Pier or on Gulf/Pine. ✨
