An amazing untamed landscape with stunning sea cliffs and coastal grasslands is home to the RSPB nature reserve. On a clear day, you will have fantastic views across to Orkney, and you can enjoy a day trip there during the summer months with an organised tour leaving from John O’ Groats 12 miles away. Within 2 miles you will find the white sands of Dunnet beach stretching around the bay and offering great opportunities to sunbathe, paddle, and swim. A must-see stop on your NC500 adventure is a visit to the Mey Castle & Visitor Centre just 7 miles and still the summer residence of Prince Charles & Camilla.
The conservatory is perfectly positioned so you can relax and enjoy the sea views, situated adjacent is the cosy lounge area with wood burning stove for relaxing nights in so you can watch a movie together and plan the next day’s adventures. There is a lovely contemporary kitchen for sharing the cooking and a dining area to eat at or play board games. The main bathroom is styled to match its coastal location.
