A great place to stay in Canmore.
This is a really comfortable apartment in a large resort a couple of kilometres from the Canmore town centre. We did not make any use of the facilities the resort has to offer, so I can’t comment on this, as we rented the apartment to use as a base for the activities we wanted to do in the area. There are many pluses to this apartment. It has a great kitchen, a comfortable bed (from which you can look at the amazing view because of the clever one-way blind) and, well, an amazing view. It also has a fantastic shower and access to Netflix. Although we have given it a 5 star rating it is only just there as it does have some of the negatives that come with the owners not living locally: previous guests had left the BBQ quite dirty, we found empty beer cans in a cupboard and it is provisioned in a rather hit and miss way. I think it is a reasonable expectation that hosts provide a few basics such as tea and coffee, salt and pepper and oil and vinegar. Some of these things seemed to be there simply because previous guests had not taken them with them. These things, however, did not affect our enjoyment of staying in the apartment and we would recommend it highly.
