My wife and I had a memorable stay at Villa Plora. When we initially saw it on VRBO, we noted that it was a new listing, so there were no reviews as yet on the website. Although the photos looked great, we were still a little nervous about renting a property without feedback from previous clients. In retrospect, we need not have worried. The villa is brand new and in a perfect location, located high up overlooking Folegandros, with a breathtaking view of the Aegean. Although in a quiet, secluded location, the property is an easy drive to Chora, the main town on the island, and just a few minutes from a number of beautiful beaches. Communication before our arrival was excellent, and our hosts, Margarita and Panagiotis, were readily accessible during the visit, checking in periodically to make sure that we had everything that we needed. The villa’s interior is sleek, modern, and thoughtfully designed, with a comfortable living area, fully equipped kitchen, dining area, two bedrooms and a full bath. A generous supply of linens was also provided and laundry facilities are available if needed. Outside, there is a plunge pool, as well as sitting and dining areas with gorgeous views overlooking the sea. In sum, we cannot imagine a better place to stay while enjoying the beautiful island of Folegandros. We are already planning to return to Villa Plora next year.
