Mountain biking and numerous outdoor activities nearby.
To visit: The Verdun grooves, do horseback riding, walking, mountain biking, museums to visit, the Serre peñcon, white water sports, Aix en Provence has 50 minutes by car.

Happy idyllic week

After a particularly soggy and cold start to the year in England this was exactly what we needed - sunshine, beautiful countryside, lavender and wild thyme on the air, local markets with fabulous French food, clear river pools not far away. The accommodation was fairly basic but we weren't missing anything; the pool was fabulous and what a view; the hosts were wonderful. All in all, worth every minute of the long drive from England.

Super Vacances

Nous avons passés de très bonnes vacances dans cette maison avec une très grande piscine, profonde permettant à mes enfants de plonger et de faire de véritables marathons dans l'eau. La Maison est ancienne, mais confortable. S'il manque certain équipement, il suffit de demander à la propriétaire qui vous fournit ce donc vous avez besoin. Le logement est propre. Les propriétaires (la maman et les enfants) ont tous été adorables et disponibles en cas de besoin. Seul hic, nous n'avions pas pris de serviettes de bain et la location de celles-ci nous a paru assez élevée. Dans tous les cas, nous recommandons cette location pour des vacances reposantes, pleines d'actions ou de visites.

Au calme

Nous avons passé de très bons moments sous le soleil des Alpes de Haute Provence. L'emplacement est parfait au calme sans être trop éloigné des commerces. Le logement est très confortable avec tout ce dont nous avions besoin et même avec quelques produits régionaux en prime ! Merci à nos sympathiques hôtes qui tout en étant discrets nous ont permis de découvrir la région grâce à leurs conseils avisés.

Amazing holiday!!!

Alles war super sauber, der Pool und die Außenterrasse waren das absolute Highlight. Das Anwesen liegt wunderschön in einer sehr ruhigen Gegend. Sisteron, sowie Supermärkte waren jedoch in 10 Auto-Minuten erreichbar. Jaqueline und ihre Enkelin Violette waren jederzeit für unsere Anliegen oder Rückfragen vor Ort und waren immer sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Auch Valerie (Tochter der Inhaberin) war vorab immer erreichbar und beantwortete mir jegliche Fragen zum Objekt. Nur der sogenannte Mistral (provenzialische Fallwind) wütete an manchen Tagen, sodass Sonnenschirme etc. einfach wegflogen, daher an Wechselkleidung für nach dem Baden und etwas wärmeres für den Abend denken :). Es war wirklich ein ganz toller Urlaub, jederzeit wieder! Danke an die ganze Familie!

Der Gesang der Zikaden

Einsam gelegener ehemaliger Bauernhof mit tollem Schwimmbad. Für Menschen, die Ruhe suchen. Die 88jährige Eigentümerin ist eine sehr rüstige, kultivierte Provencalin mit einer tollen, vielseitigen Familie. Es gibt im Gespräch (auf Französisch) mit ihr viel zu entdecken. Die sehr schöne mittelalterliche Kleinstadt Sisteron mit ihrer Zitadelle ist ein Schmuckstück der Alpes-de-Haute-Provence. Ein Auto wird unbedingt benötigt. Wer Ruhe, Authentizität und den Gesang der Zikaden sucht, wird hier einen wunderbaren Urlaub erleben.

Très belle propriété au calme. Nous avons passé une quinzaine reposante entre activités (balades, VTT, Visites,...) et farniente au bord de la superbe piscine ou dans les hamacs.
