Hunter friendly accommodations worked well for a family too
I, my wife, two sisters, our adult son and niece stayed here for five nights to attend a family reunion and visit relatives. The location is a block away from the grocery store and other main street businesses so it is very convenient. The cost to rent the house depends on the number of people that stay there, and there was a minor issue with unresolved correspondence about whether we were entitled to a refund. We found the description of the place to be generally accurate and the place was clean. The kitchen was more well appointed than expected, though a set of more durable and sharpened kitchen knives would be nice. There was a good supply of clean towels and a nice washer/dryer. There are three bedrooms (all upstairs), with two to five beds in each room. Both bathrooms are downstairs. We were worried about the end-of-July summer heat and discussed it with the managers before arrival. They installed two window A/C units and provided some fans to move the air around. One of the bedrooms does not have an outside window, so we slept with the bedroom doors open and used the fans to blow cool air from the bedroom with the AC into our room on the warm evenings. We were also a little lucky with the weather (not too hot) and that, along with the fans and A/C made our stay very comfortable. We would definitely stay here again. It was much more enjoyable to share a house with family than to stay in separate rooms in the local hotel/casino, for example.

Everything you might possibly need for a great trip enjoying everything SE ND has to offer the outdoors person. The Lodge truly is a lodge fit for any expedition. Heated mud room for dogs, gear, and transitions. 2 large bathrooms and 3 spacious bedrooms that can handle the whole group plus gear without feeling crowded. And did I mention, great host...

FLOCK STALKER LODGE
We had a great time staying at this property! We had an issue with the clothes dryer and as soon as we contacted the home owner about the issue he quickly brought a new dryer and had it installed. looks like we will be headed back up in the fall for another 1 month project and look forward to staying again! P.S. Please see if you can help with the snow!!!! Us Louisiana boys don't like shoveling snow at all!!!!! lol
