Pine Haven Resort is the perfect destination for family, fishing, snowmobiling, biking, and cross-country ski vacations. The resort has an excellent beach, private docks for guest use, and is right on the groomed snowmobile trail! Vilas County has over 500 miles of groomed snowmobile trails to explore that connect to another 1100 miles of trails in Oneida County! *Hiller's Pine Haven #9 does not allow pets during any season.*

Little Saint Germain is one of the most popular fishing and recreational lakes in the Northwoods with over 950 acres to explore. Reel in a Bass, Pike, or Walleye, or simply paddle through the pine-encompassed bays of the lake to witness the soaring of eagles and glimpses of deer as sneak the lakefront. Beautiful views!

My husband & I brought our 1yo, 3yo & pup and really enjoyed our stay!! Beds were decent, plenty of linens and really enjoyed coffee in the morning with a great view! Could use a few more amenities for the price, but overall had a great vacation!

North get away

Enjoy the area cabin was nice cozy, small but functional. Minor complaint would be the coffee maker from the 90’s K- cup would be nice, overall enjoyed the short stay thank you staff!

Summer vacation

Property was well maintained on a popular lake. Great beach area with plenty of amenities. Management was accommodating and accessible. Price was high for size of cabin, but it was a high demand time of year, and who can put a price on good memories

St. Germain Stay

The staff was communicative with us when the cabin we rented had septic issues before we arrived. They switched us and helped with extra blankets and worked with us on questions that we had.

It has everything you need. The only issue we had was that we arrived in the dark and had a hard time finding the cabin because it is connected to cabin number 8. It would be nice if an outside light would have been left on.

Love the resort

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Great resort. Clean cabins, but a couple of them are like on a sink hole because half of the cabin is on a big slope. #9 is nicely updated, but have complained that log bedframe in queen room takes up all of the room so hard to move around and dresser in closet and hard to get to along with taking up storage space. Beautiful view and nice deck. Decent sized 2 bedroom otherwise. Raised price ridiculously high and had to pay because we had no time to find a new resort that wasn't way overpriced. Company trying to monopolize area.

It seems like that should have been addressed immediately.

Hiller's Pine Haven Cottage 9 Offseason Stay

Rating Details: The property manager was somewhat unhelpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Stayed a week before Memorial Day weekend for 3 nights. The view from cabin 9 does not disappoint and it's location is spectacular. The inside of the cabin was very clean. The decor of the cabin was fun and inviting. However, we were disappointed that our pier was not in the water and our gas fireplace did not work. We reported both of these to staff more than once but nothing was done about it. We also wanted to rent a pontoon for 1/2 day but was told it had to be 2 day minimum. Keep in mind that it's the off-season and there were 4-5 unused pontoons in the office parking lot, as well as multiple pontoons in the water. Also the weather was not ideal.

Reviewer Comments: talked with folks in the office 4 times to have wooden bed frame of one of the twin beds in the cabin replaced with a standard bedframr as the wooden one is not handicap accesible for my mother in law. I was told once that if they were not able to do it they would call me so we coild figure out an alternative solution. Never got a call. I called again the day before arrival..told again they didn't know and would call down to the people in the resort. No phone call back again and upon arrival it was not done. Not adhering to this modest request is against persons with disabilities act. She then had to sleep in the chair the entire week because she could not pull herself up off of the futon either.Secondly the wooden bedframe in the queen room takes up all of the square footage and is very difficult to walk around and having the dresser in the closet takes up more there is literally no storage room in the bedroom.

Very disappointed

We thought that this was a whole cabin but it was a duplex. The place was not that clean, there were cobwebs and mold. The swimming doc was also not out and we called them to put it out and they said they would but never did. The door was unlocked when we got there. You had to clean up and do the dishes before you left which is not a problem at all. The place is not worth it for the money you spend a night. You can find such nicer ones around. There was a place across the lake that looked super nice. The nice thing about this place is the boats you can use but the fishing boats are not fishing boats and the beach is not even a beach. You also share all the boats and kayaks with the whole resort. There was supposed to be a paddle boat but that was never there either. There was no volleyball court because there was no net. You also share the docs with other people which is awkward.

Great cottage stay in the Northwoods

We had a great stay up north. Plenty of deer and beautiful scenery. The cottage is in a complex, and it's in a duplex, so it wasn't very secluded. But pretty good location.

The cabins are just as they are pictured. You have a beautiful view of the lake and nothing beats hearing the loons! Fishing, boating , swimming & relaxing at your pleasure. St Germain and the surrounding towns offer lots to do. Flea markets, biking ,hiking, be sure to visit the supper clubs (Blink Bonnie’s), have fun eating experience at Paul Bunyuns, catch a lumberjack show or go to the zoo! And ice cream at Cathy’s!!!
