In addition to Summer, Spring and Fall are a great time to enjoy the Waupaca Area. Waupaca Chain Rentals give you access to Spring Fishing or the Fall change of colors, a nice time to enjoy central Wisconsin on the Waupaca Chain of Lakes. Outdoor amenities at the home include:

The cottage has 5 bedrooms and sleeps 15+ comfortably. Our pontoon boat is available for rent for an additional charge. There is WiFi in the cottage along with cable TV and Hulu streaming. Hulu streaming is free for all renters and will give you instant access to thousands of movies and TV shows.

Incredible space for Large groups!

Plenty of Sleeping space for Large Groups! The house is well cleaned and we were able to cook and grill for the large group of 15 we had! Thank you so much and will definitely book again in the future!

Wonderful location

Loved the space and location. Everything was clean when we got there. Only issue we had was with grill and we weren’t able to use. Had to make an alternative dinner but it worked out. Property owner indicated they would get a new grill.

Plenty of room for big families.

OVERALL: Enjoyed our stay. Host (Grant) really nice, I didn't meet him but my sis in law met him and said that he is a nice guy. Grant responded promptly when I had questions via the vrbo app. I was also getting txt messages giving us heads up of any subtle changes, instructions, and other infos/updates. Which was nice. They also allowed us to go past our check out time of 10 AM. We left 45 mins later. We are already thinking, this property will be great to come back to in the summer, late spring, or next fall even. But I have a feeling this property is already booked for the whole summer. Lots of available outdoor activities for summer. Kayaks and paddleboards, Pantoon, floating diving platform available. Really nice! Opportunities for improvement: 1. House was clean but could be better. There was a bunch of (what appears to be) dog hair in one of the showers upstairs. ***Not a big deal, understandable, host messaged that one of the cleaners called off, cleaners were short-staffed. 2. Water pressure in all the showers could be better. ***It could just be the showerheads, bec all faucets have good water pressure. Love the house and the decor. Lots of beds, sofa beds, plenty of couches. Love the sun room, and the outdoor set up; sitting area, firepit, relaxing, just looking out the lake.

We have always enjoyed the Waupaca Chain and what it offers. The time here we've shared with friends and family and new friends we've made spending time here have been unforgettable. Whether it's sitting around a campfire, jamming to music at the Harbor Bar, or boating, there is something for everyone.

Why they chose this property

This particular property caught our eyes because of its untapped potential. The 1,000 sq feet above the garage once used as a toy train station that butted into the house left untouched, was the perfect place for all of the kiddos to hang out and get to be kids with their cousins and friends while the parents mingle around the bar and kitchen or out back by the lake. We saw an unpolished gem in the Sandy Bottom Lodge and with the help of friends, family, and handy contractors we brought light to this beautiful space.

What makes this property unique

The view of the lake is breathtaking, and the amount of space this place offers and amount of beds it has gives families a unique chance to be in 1 setting surrounded by close family and friends. We are biased but we believe we have one of the most unique spots to stay on the chain and we will strive to make it special for your families so they want to come back year after year. We are a phone call away for all of our guests.
