We really want you to enjoy your upcoming stay so be reassured that we follow these cleaning guidelines when cleaning our condo between guests.
Cleaning Guidelines:
1. We wear protective gear while we clean. We wear personal protective items like disposable gloves when cleaning.
2. We ventilate rooms before we clean. The CDC recommends opening outside doors and windows to increase air circulation in the condo before beginning to clean and disinfect.
3. We wash our hands thoroughly before and after each cleaning. We use soap and water, and wash for at least 20 seconds, before and after cleaning.
4. We clean, then disinfect. We use multipurpose cleaner and water to remove dirt, grease, dust, and germs. Once the surface is clean, we spray with a disinfectant. Letting it stand for a few minutes, then wiping—using paper towels or disposable wipes.
5. We use disinfectant. We pay special attention to frequently touched surfaces, like light switches, doorknobs, remote controls, and faucet handles.
6. We wash all linens at the highest heat setting recommended by the manufacturer. That includes bed sheets, mattress covers, hand and bath towels, kitchen towels, and blankets. We wear gloves when handling dirty laundry.
7. We change into clean disposable gloves. After thorough cleaning and disinfecting we dispose of used gloves and put on new ones to put out clean linens.
8. We empty the vacuum cleaner after every cleaning. We wipe down the vacuum cleaner with disinfectant, along with appliances like the dishwasher and washing machine.
9. We line trash cans. Placing bags into trash bins will make it easier to dispose of tissues and other waste.
