Hacienda de Palmas: Room #1 Grande with two queen size beds and sofa bed

With great views to the Sea of Cortez, and centrally located in the East Cape of Baja California Sur, the Hacienda de Palmas is a boutique style bed and breakfast in the small town of La Ribera, Baja California Sur Mexico. Whether you are here for the great fishing and recreation, or just need a place to call home while visiting friends and family, the Hacienda de Palmas is ready for all your accommodation needs. The Hacienda de Palmas can accommodate larger groups, and the garden patio area is a great place to have special gatherings and stage events.

The six private rooms of the Hacienda de Palmas are spacious and clean. Most of the rooms are located on the second floor, and have their own individual style and decor. Each room has a mini fridge, new inverter style air conditioning, fans and bathrooms (with body soap, shampoo and conditioner), towels, etc.

We also have a community kitchen that guests are able to utilize during their stay between the hours of 7am through 8pm.

The property has a large outdoor courtyard, heated outdoor swimming pool, BBQ and outdoor propane fire pit.

Great atmosphere and great personal service are just the beginning of what we offer at the Hacienda de Palmas.

We truly enjoy living in La Ribera and being an important part of your visit to Southern Baja.

If you want to escape the Cabo crowds and explore the east coast of Baja Sur, but don't have a jeep or pick-up truck to safely drive long distances on washboard dirt roads, La Ribera is just north of Cabo Pulmo and much quieter than Los Barilles. And this hacienda B & B is a lovely surprise with a charming host.

false advertising . the website offered breakfast thought it would be a bacon and egg sorta thing but it was ceral. bicycles and quads were broken. so was hotub for over half a year..there is no access to kitchen to cook meals etc. suggestion to have microwaves in rooms and TV. otherwise beautiful yard clean rooms and the caretaker was nice.

The property is clean and attractive. The amenities on site are basically a nice courtyard and patios with ocean views. Room was basic , but clean. Bathroom nicely tiled and great shower. Nice basic breakfast every morning- one of our favorite parts was visiting with the other guests at breakfast. 10 minute walk to a totally deserted beach. Great swimming. Hotel provided beach chairs, towels, umbrella for free. The town of LaRibera does not have a lot to offer, but is centrally located about a hlf hour from Cabo Pulmo, a a national marine refuge with snorkeling and diving, and Los Barrieles, a small touristy town with lots of western bars and restaurants and famous for it's kiteboarding. The rates are vey reasonable . By far the high point was the American owner, Jason- he was just accommodating in every way without being submissive about it. Made you feel real comfortable. I thought we had paid in advance, and he told me only on the last day that we owed him-then he knocked off a few bucks when he converted to USD.

We love the Hacienda d Palmas, such a unique place. Jason is the best host!! He goes out of his way to accommodate people. Alex serves the best breakfast. Centrally located in La Ribera. Easy walk to the beach and grocery store. This is our second year there, can't wait till next year.
