Equipped with a brand new (06/2020) Reverse Osmosis water treatment system, our home, at the foot of Hunter Mountain and five minutes from the slopes, awaits your arrival. A fully-upgraded, centrally heated haven with exquisite touches, two fully-upgraded bathrooms, 42" Panasonic plasma TV; Roku TV; fresh, clean bed linens; towels, shampoos and soaps. Ample storage in dressers and cabinets.

Our home is designed for year-round use. People love it as a base for outdoor hiking adventures, taking in the sheer natural beauty of the Catskills region, and of course the world-class skiing offered by Hunter Mountain in the winter months. Or... just as a place to get away from it all and hunker with family!

Please note this is a rural area. We have an ongoing contract with Terminix for pest control and it works really well, but we cannot guarantee that there won't be any pest sightings during your stay. If you are particularly squeamish, maybe our property is not your best choice :-)!

For long-term stays we require a cleaning every two weeks by our cleaning lady. Guests work out charges and schedules directly with the cleaning lady.
NO SKI BOOTS OR SKATES IN HOUSE. KEEP ALL SKIS, POLES AND SNOWBOARDS OUTSIDE OR ON A PLASTIC SHEET ON FLOOR. GUEST WILL BE CHARGED ANY FLOOR DAMAGE.

Fantastic Mountain Home

The home was perfect and was only minutes away from Hunter Mountain. The host was very responsive and helpful to make the check in and check out process a breeze. The home was very clean and cozy. The view from the back porch is breath taking. This will definitely be my first choice for any future trips to Hunter and I would recommend it to anyone!

Lovely getaway

The house was clean and comfortable. Beds were great. We loved the property. Gorgeous riverbed just behind the backyard was a great surprise. Kitchen could use some updated cookware but we were able to make all meals at home. We had a couple of issues that I didn’t call attention to until after we left but owner was glad to get feedback and said he’d take care of the problems I encountered. He was very responsive to other questions I had and gave us great suggestions for hikes. We were happy overall with this property.

Great ski weekend

The house was perfect for our ski weekend at Hunter mountain. It was a 5 minute drive to the ski resort and town of Hunter so was very convenient. There was plenty of space for the four of us and we had about everything we needed. Beds were very comfortable and we enjoyed relaxing in the living room after our long cold ski days. The kitchen had about everything we needed but there are not a lot of extra condiments, spices etc. so best to bring what you need. We were very disappointed that the wood stove in the living room was not working as that was something we were looking forward to at the time of booking. We would hope that will be fixed soon as it would be a great winter feature. A few extra towels would be also be good as there were no hand towels provided, just full bath towels. Overall though, we really enjoyed our stay and were very comfortable throughout. The hosts were great with their communication and we will definitely look to stay here again on our future trips to Hunter mountain.

Ideal location, excellent host

Literally at the bottom of the mountain and easy access to restaurants and shops. Host was exceptionally responsive and communication was a breeze. Ot was a perfect weekend.

A wonderful house to stay while skiing at Hunter

The house is extremely clean and cozy. The owner is a great host and communicated very timely . We stayed there for 5 days to ski at Hunter which is only 5 minutes away. We really had a great time !

July 24-25 Hunter Stay

R.P. was a great host. He ensured we had all the details of the house so we could enjoy our stay. He contacted us to make sure we were enjoying our stay. His property has a lot of space for children’s activities. There was a very nice trail made for access to the stream. The kids enjoyed the time they spent in the stream. We loved the natural beauty of the surroundings. This was a very memorable stay.

Amazing weekend getaway

The house was quiet, beautiful, clean and warm! The location was perfect as we were on a ski trip, and Hunter Mountain was only a 5-minute drive. Excellent service and responsiveness from JR, the manager. Overall, it was a very comfortable stay. Hopefully, we'll be back in the near future.
