A peaceful country escape
We really enjoyed our stay in Ingrid’s house in Ballywinney just outside of Camlough. The view from the house was really awe inspiring, with rolling green sheep filled fields rising against the backdrop of the South Armagh mountains. The house is lovely, comfortable, clean and very homely. It’s very well equipped too with plenty of cooking utensils and crockery. There was also good wifi and a good selection of TV channels. The nearest village is about 2 minutes drive away and the local supermarket had a great selection of local produce. The village also had a great selection of takeaways and restaurants for eating / ordering out.

Beautiful South Armagh
Situated in a farming community 2 miles outside of Camlough the house is ideally situated to explore the beauties of both South Armagh and South Down. Whilst it is a working farming community it is very peaceful and relaxing. It is also enjoyable to watch local people go about their work and nothing moves on a Sunday. The house itself has three bedrooms two double rooms and a single and the downstairs Paula has two large sofas which can be used to sleep on. The kitchen is spacious and I particularly enjoyed sitting on the patio watching the day go by.

An ideal retreat in a pandemic
Situated two miles north of Camlough in the beautiful countryside of South Armagh, this spacious detached house provides comfort and tranquility. It provides an excellent base for sightseeing/ walking in the historic Ring of Gullion and the Mourne Mountains. Newry with its extensive shopping facilities is a short drive away.

This house on Tullywinney Road is the home where I grew up. I travel fairly frequently, so I invite you to enjoy my home during my absence. Currently I divide my time between here and the U.S.A.

Why they chose this property

This beautiful property has a very special place in my heart, because it is the home where I grew up. My parents built it after they were married, and my father farmed here. It is not merely a house to let, but rather I am inviting you to be a guest in my home.

What makes this property unique

The home on Tullywinney Road offers you a peaceful and relaxing getaway. Enjoy life in the countryside with all the amenities to make your stay complete. The views are second to none. A short drive along scenic country roads will take you to restaurants, shopping malls, cinemas, pony trekking, leisure center, and a swimming pool, just to name a few!!
