A very good villa. Unfortunately the kettle was faulty on arrival but we were immediately provided with a new one when it was reported. The towels were rather small and the kitchen lacked any mixing bowls. There were only 3 wine glasses in a property for 6, which was surprising.Apart from these shortcomings however, everything else was good and we thoroughly enjoyed our holiday.

Despite me and my family really enjoyed being at Quinta do Couto, we have some important complaints to make, which were not solved during the period of our stay and persisted during the entire week we spent there: a) The TV channels only worked a couple of hours a day, with no apparent reason; b) The internet sign was nonexistent, which caused me grave inconveniences, since my work depends on me being online most of the time; c) None of the beds had sheets (problem solved during the second day of our stay, with the housemaid, after some pressure on the owner and several phone calls); d) The air conditioning malfunctioned in the living room (if turned on long enough, it would pour water into the ground); Regardly

Een fijn huis op een wat afgelegen locatie maar dat heeft ook zijn bekoring. Het weer was ook fantastisch we hebben de gehele tijd gebruik kunnen maken van het zwembad en ons koesteren in de zon. Ook de omgeving was de moeite waard, de historische steden zoals o.a. Evora hebben we bezocht en er genoten.Als er vragen waren kon er prima gecommuniceerd worden met de eigenaar of de beheerder.

Mooie villa met een prachtig zwembad. Alles is zoals op de foto's, met als extra'tje vlak aan het terras aan grote rots waar je gemakkelijk op kan lopen en die een prachtig zicht geeft op de omgeving. De beheerder is een Portugese man die alleen Portugees spreekt, maar met google translate konden we elkaar toch verstaan 😀 Op de 10 dagen dat wij hier verbleven is hij 3 keer langsgeweest om het zwembad te doen en om te vragen of alles in orde was, echt een super lieve vriendelijke man. Het huis was zoals eerder vermeld exact zoals op de foto's...maar dan enkele jaren geleden. Er waren hier een daar wel enkele punten die aandacht nodig nodig hadden door de tijd die er vat op begon te krijgen. Het ergste was de airco's, deze waren voorzien van een bloembak eronder omdat ze zo hard lekte. Voor ons nu niet een struikelpunt om ze elke dag leeg te maken maar dit geeft wat ons betreft samen met een paar andere kleine punten wel aan dat een kleine opfrissing deze villa wel NOG wat meer kan onderscheiden van de rest. De weg naar de villa is wel 5 minuten op onverharde (soms ruwe) weg rijden, niet direct iets waar ik een goed gevoel bij had toen ik deze voor de eerste keer moest doen met onze wagen. Wij hebben een Tesla model Y en ik heb toch een paar keer bang gehad dat ik wat rotsen ging raken, gelukkig ging dit altijd goed maar met een iets lagere wagen zou ik dit zeker niet aanraden. Voordeel is natuurlijk dat je heel rustig en afgelegen zit, nadeel is dan natuurlijk ook weer dat te voet even wat broodjes gaan halen er niet inzit. De dichtsbijzijnde supermarkt die ertoe doet ligt al gauw op 20 km afstand. Voor ons was dit één van de mooiste vakanties, vooral door het (grote) zwembad en het mooie terras met prachtig zicht op de omgeving.

- O check-in não foi efetuado por ninguém - Contacto com a anfitriã muito pobre e difícil de estabelecer - Piscina bastante suja à chegada e o tratamento da mesma só ficou resolvido a 100% passado 4 dias (num total de 7) - Cuidador do espaço ausente e pouco preparado para lidar com clientes - Serviço nulo (sem papel higiénico, apenas uma toalha de rosto por pessoa para o banho e apenas uma colcha e um lençol por cama) - Ar condicionado em más condições (escorria bastante água) - Bomba de água deixou de funcionar (tínhamos um fio de água durante 2 minutos, sendo que tínhamos de esperar outros 4 minutos para conseguir continuar o banho) - Internet muito fraca, praticamente inexistente. - Qualidade do edifício boa. Eletrodomésticos e mobiliário bons e bom isolamento. Bom serviço de limpeza - Agradecemos que a Vrbo seja mais seletiva na escolha dos seus fornecedores de forma a continuar a ser credível e manter os seus clientes satisfeitos. Iremos estar atentos na próxima seleção e caso o mesmo aconteça as consequências serão outras tais como exigir ser ressarcido das férias pagas que não gozamos.

Bon séjour mais maison à rafraîchir

Nous avons passé un très bon séjour dans l'ensemble. La maison est grande et agréable et la piscine très sympa. Nous avons adoré le calme. Cependant nous ne trouvons pas le prix justifié au vu des différents points à améliorer. En effet, nous avons économisé toute l'année pour nous permettre de payer ces 2 semaines de vacances et nous sommes un peu déçus. Le chemin d'accès mériterait d'être remis à niveau et les trous rebouchés. La climatisation à commencé à fuir dès le premier jour, il nous est demandé de ne pas trop utiliser d'eau mais c'est impossible quand on voit que pour prendre une simple douche il faut attendre que l'eau ne soit plus ou glacée ou brûlante, le robinet et la chasse d'eau de la salle de bain du fond doivent être changés, les stores sont fragiles et celui du séjour a lâché au premier jour. Grosse déception au niveau du barbecue qui a été inutilisable, en effet, il est grand et prometteur mais aucune grille adaptée. Un mini barbecue d'appoint est proposé mais il est rond avec des grilles rectangulaires (???) et sales donc impossible de faire quoi que ce soit ! La cuisine manque clairement d'équipement : des couteaux qui coupent, une râpe, des saladiers, le frigo est beaucoup trop petit pour une maison qui prévoit d'accueillir 6 personnes. Nous avons été envahi par les fourmis à certains endroits. La piscine mériterait d'être nettoyée en profondeur et que le sable soit enlevé. Une sécurité serait un plus pour les enfants. Nous avons croisé les personnes en charge de l'entretien et de l'extérieur qui ont été très agréables et disponibles. Le passage en plein milieu d'après midi pour vérifier la piscine n'était cependant pas du tout apprécié... Il n'y a pas grand chose aux alentours mais cela ne nous a pas dérangé. En bref, séjour apprécié mais maison à rafraîchir !
