We enjoyed our trip to the keys; this home met all our needs & more. The Cabana Club was a huge bonus. Gregg, the property manager responded in a timely manner and was extremely helpful. We had a great trip!
Had a great time!
Loved the house & the pool.
Met some great people at the Cabana Club.
Loved the area!
Would like to stay at this place next time we visit.
So our lobstering adventure was a bust, but thankfully we had this amazing home to relax in and create new family memories. The pool/spa was perfect for the October weather and the location made boating a breeze. We would definitely stay here again, and recommend it to anyone who is thinking of taking a Florida Keys vacation.
Check-in was seamless, and communication with the property manager was truly top-notch. Greg was incredibly responsive, checking in regularly and even stopping by in person when we had a question about the pool. From a management standpoint, everything was handled with care and professionalism, and I really appreciated that level of service. That said, the house itself fell a bit short of the standard we’ve come to expect from VRBO properties. While it was certainly sufficient for our needs, it lacked the polish or attention to detail that usually sets these rentals apart. For example, when we arrived, there was quite a bit of debris in the pool. Completely understandable given how windy it was that day—but the issue was there wasn’t a pool skimmer available for us to clean it ourselves. We let Greg know, and he confirmed the next day that there was, in fact, no net. A pool maintenance person did come by mid-week and cleaned the pool, but the hot tub was overlooked. I don’t mind pitching in to keep things tidy, but without the basic tools, that wasn’t really possible. On the bright side, we had opted to pay for hot tub heat, and I have to say, it did not disappoint. The hot tub got wonderfully warm, which we really appreciated—it was definitely worth the extra cost.Overall, nothing was wrong with the home per se, but a lot of the details just felt... a bit "meh." The spare room beds were not especially comfortable, but the master was comfy. Towel bar in the hallway bath
A perfect house in one of our favourite places. Provided perfect relaxation in an idilic setting. The Cabana club was an added bonus. Gregg provided perfect support.
Everything as described. The pool was a game changer for our family. We would do our daily excursion, then hit the Cabana Club, and then top off the evening in the pool talking about everything that happened throughout the day and making plans for the next day. Everything was extremely clean and it was very well furnished. Just about every type of cooking utensil and pan you can think of and pretty much anything you would need to have a wonderful trip. Thank you and we plan to be back again in the future!
We stayed for a week in May! The location was great! The house had pretty much everything we needed. The beds were comfy. The pool was awesome! We paid for the heat in the hot tub but didn’t need it!
Lots of seating outside. The ceiling fans on the lanai were great!
They had so many towels! They do require you wash towels (that aren’t part of everyday use in the bathroom) but that was no big deal with the stackable washer and dryer in the house.
Our family of 5 had a great stay-starting with great communication with Gregg the property manager. The house was clean and very comfortable with tons of towels, a fully stocked kitchen and an amazing outdoor space! The pool was perfect and plenty of covered space to relax. The location is outstanding with the Cabana Club in walking distance, access to the ocean and a golf club in the community. There were multiple very good restaurants within a very short drive as well. We enjoyed the Cabana Club, hanging out on the beachfront and even watching sports on the large TVs in the bar area. Really no complaints at all this week! Thank you for sharing your lovely home with us!
We really loved our stay at this home! The property manager was quick to respond to any inquiries and very helpful. There were many wonderful things about the place including, but not limited to, the cute decor, well stock kitchen, nice patio, pool with hot tub, dock for fishing.
Traveled to the keys for a surprise 70th Birthday. In July you definitely need water access to cool off and this property provided that with a beautiful pool along with the cabana club which also had a pool plus beach access.
Great House on the water with a pool! The dock was a little tricky but ocean access was easy and quick. We loved the layout of the house the kitchen was well stocked and the kids loved the pool!
Property fit our needs as each bedroom has its own bathroom & TV. Home doesn't have high steps for access which was perfect as my brother uses a walker. He could manage the small steps into front & rear of home. The pool is perfect and we fished off the dock a few evenings which was fun. Kitchen is very well stocked & had everything we needed.
Property manager Gregg was very responsive to our questions and promptly arrived to assist with 1 tv issue & brought bag of ice when we couldn't get ice maker to work. Unfortunately the HVAC died on our 4th night but Gregg quickly responded and provided an alternative home to spend the next night until AC unit could be repaired. He promised compensation which we are awaiting his offer amount and expect his response any day. We would return to this home as it definitely met our extended family's needs.
The overall property was nice. The location was perfect. The sheets and bed linen were dirty. I also had to wash the mattress pad because it looked extremely dirty, as if someone had peed the bed. I think they need a different cleaning person.

Cute little place but wouldn’t stay there again!
This is the first not-so-good review I’ve had to write on VRBO so I’ll start with the good: cute little place, lots of beachy chotchkies, reminded me a little of my grandparents house growing up. Backyard was nice, kitchen beyond fully stocked with anything you could possibly need and then some! Master bed was comfy and 3 bed/ 3 bath is a nice layout. Unfortunately the bad: AC is locked at 74, you cannot lower it, we made a call to the property manager because I thought I was doing something wrong but he confirmed that is the lowest we were “allowed” to lower the air, it was hot during the afternoon and whenever we came back so I can’t imagine how it would be in the hot summer months, the Bedroom fans helped a lot at night time. I appreciate efficiency, but 72 would have been a welcome improvement and that’s only 2 degrees! Pool was pretty chilly, they said it is heated to 85* daily, but I think it only runs for a short period so never really warms up although the top step felt warmer in the afternoon than the rest of the pool. I remember reading about paying extra to control the heat setting if you wanted to, we did not pay for that option. We still used the pool, just took a little while to get in. Also, this was the first place we’ve stayed where lots of things seemed to have a lock on them; We had some drinks we wanted to put in in the outdoor fridge to avoid having to run inside but it was locked, it was a clear door beverage cooler and nothing was in it?? Then there was an umbrella by the pool that we thought would be great to open to keep our 2 year old out of the sun, also locked so you couldn’t open it? AC locked..... come to think of it, this place has more rules than my grandparents house! While all of these are relatively minor, the deal breaker was the cockroaches!!!! We averaged 2 a day-13 in total!! On our first day there, we had to kill one in the shower even and he was a BIG one! After seeing 2 in 15 minutes run across the dresser in the bedroom we had the baby in we moved her to our room, which made for a less than restful rest of our trip. I know it’s FL and bugs are pretty standard but that was way too many to see in a week and we were careful about putting food away and taking out the garbage! The property Manager texted he “apologized and would make it up to us somehow” after my last message of the 2 cockroach night but I haven’t heard anything since?
House had everything we needed. It was very well equipped! Lovely and fit our needs perfectly. Loved going to the Cabana Beach Club, except for the lady who seemed to be in charge. She was very rude and condescending. She is not a good ambassador for the community. Otherwise it was a great week. Our host/manager was very easy to reach and answered all questions in a very timely manner. Highly recommend this house!
House was very nice. Kitchen was very well stocked with anything you would need. Only thing I did not like were the sheets and pillow cases they made me feel very warm, other than that, the beds were comfortable. Outside area very nice. Property was very conveniently located. Key Colony Beach club and pool was a very nice perk.
We’ve been going to the keys with a group of friends for over a decade and as our families have grown we have had to find three or four houses near each other. Key colony worked well for us this year, and this house (where my family stayed) was by far the nicest place amongst the group. The private pool is amazing especially after a day on the boat. Dockage is as described. We have a 20 foot center console and it wasn’t an issue, but I can see it being tough for a larger boat.
About the house:
Beautifully updated and well stocked. You can tell the owner spends a lot of time down here as this place has all the comforts of home. The kitchen is a cook’s delight. The beds are comfortable and the living area is comfortable for a small group.
A couple of things to be aware of: the thermostat is set to a lower limit of 74. We spoke with the property manager and requested a lower limit. He contacted the owner and they were able to change it remotely. There was a small fee for the extra electric usage which we gladly paid and found more than fair. There were ants and some palmetto bugs, but we sprayed and that seemed to help. It’s the keys and we have come to accept this as part of life down there. All in all, the property was amazing, clean and well stocked. Communication with the manager/owner was seamless and professional. We would stay here again.
Nice 3/3 on canal close access to Atlantic
Perfect pool for lounging that also had a hot tub in one corner of the pool. The property also included Cabana club membership that gave us beach access with a bar and restaurant..
What a fantastic house! Super spacious living/dining/bedroom areas. A slightly smaller kitchen area, however there is tons of storage for food and snacks. The absolute highlight of this house is the back porch, pool, and patio. Absolutely wonderful, spacious porch with more than enough table/chairs for a large family, oodles of poolside seating, and great access to the canal. The kids practically lived in the pool which was clean and in excellent condition. We rented kayaks which we used daily and had plenty of room to store then in the large patio area. The landscaping has perfectly placed palm trees for a bit of afternoon shade in the pool. And the kids loved the wildlife even from the backyard…they named the iguana Ralph, and we lost count of how many of the tiny little lizards we saw, loved seeing the resident woodpeckers, got to check out a jellyfish in the canal, and even got to view a manatee as well! The house provided beach towels and had some beach/pool toys for use too. We did spend some time at the Cabana Club pool and private beach, both of which were lovely. This house was really a great stay!
