The latest addition is a 6-seater golf cart! It is bright. It is shiny. And it's for our guests to use! (must be 21+ years old to drive)

Two-bedroom condo has been newly renovated with tile flooring throughout and new stainless appliances...

Professionally decorated two-bedroom condo perfect for a family, extended family and friends. The master bedroom has a very comfortable king-size bed. The second bedroom has two queen-size beds. The living room features a brand new (as of March 2018) queen sleeper sofa with memory foam mattress. With upscale mattresses, linens, new LG washer & dryer, high-speed internet, flat-screen smart TVs and other amenities, this unit will give you that "at home" feeling. It will almost make you want to stay indoors. But its location in the heart of Baytowne Village with the shopping, restaurants, kids arcade and playground, nightly events and night life just a short walk away will beckon you outward.

Of course the pool and the workout facilities are even closer ... as a stones throw from your balcony will place you poolside for that quick dip, or that not-so-short walk on the treadmill. The white sands and the azure warm waters of the world's most beautiful beaches are just a short 5-minute drive away. You can even go salt or fresh water fishing off the nearby pier or several lakes; also within easy walking distance.

For those attending conferences in Sandestin - it is an easy 5-minute walk to the Sandestin Conference Center.

Four different 18-hole golf courses are on Sandestin property and three of them are open to the guests staying in the resort. You can even play where Gary Player or Chi Chi Rodriguez have competed in a Champion Tour event if you really want to test your skill. Maybe tennis is your game. If so, then a short 5-minute walk will put you on the court and you can choose your surface, including grass. Interested in boating? The Marina is just down the boardwalk with a casual restaurant and many other activities to engage in.

After spending the day at the beach, pool or on the links, you can return to the nighttime activity in the heart of Sandestin, and your 'home away from home' will allow you to leave the car parked, as you extend your fun well into the night. But before venturing out, you may want to stroll down to the pier and take in some of the most romantic sunsets offered on the Gulf coast. We enjoyed our stay and the golf cart was great to get around the property and to the beach. It was very convenient to enjoy Baytown Wharf. The balcony view overlooking the pool was beautiful. We love to cook and the bbq grilling area was excellent by the pool and hot tub. This unit could use some bathroom updates. Overall we loved our visit and the host was quick and kind to communicate with. Matt provided a very thorough welcome letter that made check in a breeze.

Wonderful Family Vacation

Fantastic condo, beds were comfy, and it was the perfect size for our family. The location was perfect, only a walk to the wharf for family activities and restaurants. The gold cart was perfect for going to the beach. Would definitely stay here again!

Condo was well equipped and had everything we needed and the golf cart is an absolute must. Our two kids loved getting around in it. The main pool was closed a day and a half for tile work which I thought was a bit ridiculous being peak season. Seems like something that should have been addressed in the offseason but we just used the other pools so minor inconvenience. That said Matt was very attentive and timely with any concerns we had. The one thing I would note is the beach access. It is incredibly busy. I mean very very busy. I’ve been coming to Sandestin since ‘95 at least once or twice a year and I’ve never seen a beach there that busy. We would absolutely return since Baytown is a great location for our family with two pre-teens but wouldn’t come in the summer. To me it’s a great location for a fall trip unless large crowds on the beach don’t bother you, but that’s not a knock on the condo. Just lots of people using the same access. The condo itself and location to everything in Baytown was great just be warned about the crowded beach during the summer.

The property is lovely. It is exactly like the photos and we enjoyed the view of the pool. It was nice that the kids had a room they could close off when they slept late. We would definitely stay there again.

Spring Break 2021

Loved every part of our visit to Baytowne Wharf. Room was very clean, updated nicely and so convenient to all amenities. Loved the pool and courtyard view from the room. To get to other Destin attractions we wanted to visit, it was a short drive away. Matt was awesome to work with and we cannot wait to be back next year!!!

Home Away

This is our second consecutive year staying in this condo and it is perfect for our family and comfortably sleeps 4-6. Literally steps away from the beautiful pool and hot tub, and just a few more away from all the food and fun of Baytowne Wharf. Take the bikes or the golf cart and be at the beach in less than 5 minutes! It’s clean and a classic beach decor makes it cozy. I love sipping morning coffee on the balcony listening to the water feature in the courtyard. Perfect location for an easy going vacay!

Great place, great stay

This unit was fantastic! So close to the main pool and the village. Very tastefully decorated, so clean and with all the amenities we needed. Comfortable king bed in the master, two queens in the guest room and the pullout sofa was not bad either. Kitchen was stocked with all the items we needed. The washer and dryer was located in a separate room off the kitchen and made it so easy to do laundry. The balcony/terrace over looked the pool, it was very roomy with a couple of high top chairs and a table, great place to eat breakfast or to sit while the kids were in the pool and we could keep them in sight. There was also a storage box filled with pool and beach toys that was a nice addition...and a couple of beach chairs. Owners also had a couple of bikes with a lock that we were allowed to use. So many places to ride throughout the property. The unit is also near the marina where we could rent additional bikes for the rest of our family. The unit had three nice smart TVs that all had Netflix and other streaming services as well as local cable channels. Dining area had a nice big table that seated six and there was also a kitchen more that had additional seating. We had a family of five during our stay and the unit was great for us. Showers were good and hot with good water pressure. About a 7 minute car ride over to the beach side , which was ok with us as we are not beach people that like to go everyday and stay all day. Several ponds in walking distance of the unit, we fished several times and caught a totaL of five fish...they love to hit on bread. On Tuesday night, the village shot off fireworks that we watched from the pool and hot tub area, very cool! On Monday night, in the village lagoon, they had a water jet pack show where the performers wore suits that lit up...very cool! Played golf one day at the Links course, some great holes overlooking the ocean. Such a perfect week and a great place to stay! This unit was great for us!

Great location and owner but a few issues

Owner Matt was great to work with. Prior to and during our stay we had many questions. Matt was always prompt and thorough. Cost Given the location and amenities nearby, the cost seemed very economical. Location The location was outstanding. The map of The Village of Baytowne Wharf doesn't really do the area justice. Everything is VERY much within walking distance and you have your pick among lots of food, drinks, and entertainment. The shuttle passes Matt provided also came in handy to head to the beach. Just a 15m shuttle ride and we were there. Property The property itself is where we had a couple issues. While the property was fairly clean, it was very dated. In fairness, the entire building (The Pilot House) was very dated. The unit itself (and to some extent the entire Pilot House) had lots of dents and chips in the walls, missing paint, stains on the carpet, very old appliances (except the washer and dryer which seemed a bit newer), and very old TVs (which may not matter too much to some but was worth noting given just how cheap even a 1080p TV is these days). We noticed little spots of black mold in several places within the shower (which is barely big enough to turn around in) and bathtubs. I don't want to give the impression the unit was horribly dirty but it definitely appeared the cleaners cruised through there pretty quickly and sparsely before we got there. The biggest issue was had, however, wasn't even with our own unit but with the one above us. 3-4 days of our stay, they were doing renovations on the unit above us and from around 8AM in the morning until (it varied) 3-5PM they were using machinery to tear up floors, carpeting, etc. It was very loud and mad nap time for our little girl pretty challenging. Overall We had a great time on our trip despite the issues with the property itself. Matt was fantastic to work with and the location of the property is outstanding and reasonably priced. I do think the unit needs renovation and I think it could really use a deep clean. It'd be great if there was some communication about renovations or construction that is going to happen within the property itself ahead of time so prospective tenants could make an educated choice but I realize how that could deter future renters.

Overall, we had a great stay! The location is awesome being close to the wharf. The pool is AMAZING! The golfcart is amazing as well. The golfcart could use some maintenance on the wheels as they screech everytime you turn. The toilet in the guest bathroom had a broken handle so flushing was difficult. You had to hold it done really long and then sometimes it still wouldn’t flush. The couch in the living room is not comfortable to sit on. The back is too low and just not comfy. With a toddler napping daily we utilized that couch everyday for 2 hours and it was rough unless you were literally laying on it. None of this would prevent me from staying again, but just some things to note if you stay. They also provided beach chairs, some games, and books which was a nice touch.

Early Summer Vacation

Excellent location for our kick off to summer vacation! Baytowne Wharf was perfect for our teenager and her friend to explore while giving them some independence yet staying connected. They loved using the bikes to explore the resort and the golf cart made going to the beach a breeze. We loved the nightly activities such as fireworks and drone light show in the wharf. Owner was highly responsive to questions about condo and area.
