The location is prime if you want to be away from the sounds of late night bar music. This place is minutes away from anything you need, can walk to the cutest coffee shop and convenience store. It's truly the perfect home away from home. We are already planning a group/family trip to go back next year! Thank you Vacasa.

Very loud road and vacasa support is non existent

Road next to it is really loud dont expect to sleep in. Vacasa support is horrible so better hope you dont need anything while you are there.

Property Mara Laguna

When researching properties for my trip this one came up, it was not a 4 or 5 star facility. The place cleanliness was not the greatest. floors and restroom was dirty and the place is very outdated. I would not stay here in this location every again. Just wasn't worth it. It rained and the both bedrooms floor was saturated with rain inside both bedrooms floors.

Mara Luna condo

We enjoyed our stay at this property in Mara Luna. The unit was huge, clean, well air-conditioned. Downsides are minimal: This unit faces the main road and there is constant traffic noise. The unit is sparsely furnished: no extra toilet paper, the kitchen lacks a lot of items. But other than that, this condo was a great base to explore the area from. On-site security is a nice touch and the security guys are a riot to chat with. We may have left them our left-over beer ;-)

Great place, close to town!

This was a great place to stay during our weekend in San Pedro. We did a snorkeling/fishing tour and they picked us up across the street at the Dive Bar. It was close to town (just a few minutes north of the bridge). The apartment was very nice!

Loved the pool

The Mara Laguna has a wonderful pool area, with a lovely pool surrounded by the lagoon. The water was nice and refreshing, and it was a great place to meet other people. There was an excellent restaurant and pool bar right beside the pool, both of which we much enjoyed. Mara Laguna is a gated community, so we felt very safe, but on the other hand we didn't feel isolated at all. There is a fruit stand, small restaurant, and a grocery/general store all right across the street. It's a 15-minute walk to the bridge across which is the public beach, and a row of interesting shops and restaurants.

The future looks bright.

While Mara Laguna has had a reported troubled past with developer and management. The addition of VACASA and the new HOA board has everything on the right track to bring this location back to prominence on the Island SOONER than Later.
