There is no wifi at this cabin. The lower level basically has no heat when it’s 20 some degrees out, however the top level is like a sauna! The top level toilet never wanted to flush. The living room TV could use a huge update. The cabin was clean, other than leaves all in the floor on the bottom level in the bedroom & gameroom. We had a decent stay with the family, but definitely would not book again.

Thank you for your honest feedback. While we're glad to hear the cabin was clean and that you were able to enjoy some family time, we sincerely apologize for the issues that impacted your stay.
We regret that the lack of Wi-Fi and temperature imbalance between floors made things uncomfortable—those are important aspects, and we’re actively evaluating solutions to improve both heating and connectivity. We also appreciate you letting us know about the toilet issue, outdated TV, and leaves in the lower level. These concerns are being addressed with our maintenance and cleaning teams to prevent similar experiences for future guests.
We truly value your input and will use it to make meaningful improvements. Thank you again for staying with us, and we wish you all the best in your future travels.
Beautiful property. My family and I enjoyed every minute at this property.

We absolutely enjoyed our stay here. The cabin was so clean and well put together. We especially enjoyed the levels and the way the rooms were set up. Our family was able to spread out and enjoy ourselves. The pool table and foosball table were so much fun! Not to mention, Stephanie (the owner) was extremely helpful. She responded to my questions in a matter of minutes and even followed up to make sure we "got it". Thank you Stephanie! You made our vacation so worth it!
This was the perfect place for a weekend getaway in the mountains. The view from each balcony was beautiful. It had the perfect space for all of us!

The Cabin is really Cozy. We arrived on a fairly hot day for December. We got into the cabin and left to go to dinner. When we arrived back we noticed that since the temperature had dropped it was a bit cold inside so we increased the thermostat to 70. That night was miserable. The main floor bedroom and down stairs bedroom had zero heat. You could see your breath the next morning. I messaged Stephaine and she came quickly. Come to find out the blower motor had gone out on the unit. HVAC Tech arrived later that night but couldn’t fix the unit until the next day. Stephanie quickly ran and got space heaters for every bedroom. The following day the unit was fixed and cabin warm again.

Thank you so much for your thoughtful feedback, Peggy. We're glad to hear you found the cabin cozy and appreciate your understanding during the unexpected HVAC issue. We’re truly sorry for the discomfort you experienced that first night—no guest should have to see their breath indoors!
We’re grateful to Stephanie and the team for responding quickly with space heaters and getting the HVAC tech out as soon as possible. We’re happy everything was resolved and the cabin was warm again for the rest of your stay.
Thank you again for your patience and for staying with us—we’d love the opportunity to host you again for an even smoother experience!

Cute cabin
The cabin was well stocked and cozy. We enjoyed a weekend here and it was close enough to Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge for fun day trips! The space was clean. The linens and towels are a little dated and could use an update. Otherwise, this was a great cabin and I would recommend if you are looking to be close to the fun of Gatlinburg & Pigeon Forge, but far enough away to enjoy nature!

Thank you for your review I have passed on the suggestions to the cabin owners Cleaners/Maintenance.
This property was very clean and comfortable. The only thing I can say is that the pull out bed really needs some updating as the mattress on it was paper thin to where my boys that were going to sleep there could not because it was like sleeping straight on the bar that pulls out. Other than that it was a great stay! We would rent this cabin again.
Property was beautiful. However there were a few issues. The air conditioning on the lower floor was extremely cool and in the loft bedroom it was very warm. Also the satellite did not work in bedroom on main floor or in the lower bedroom or in the game room.

Nice cabin but priced lower for reasons
The cabin was very spacious and clean. But some things need fixed. The dishwasher doesn't work nor the down stairs bedroom TV. Other than that the cabin was great for our 7 ppl group. The beds were comfortable. However the sofa bed in the livingroom wasn't to comfy. Also there's only like 2 towels for each person so if u planned to stay longer than a few days you may want to bring extra. The ladies at the check in desk were very helpful. Always answered back swiftly and efficiently.

Thanks for staying at Awesome Honey Bear. We appreciate you alerting us to a problem with the dishwasher. We will have it checked out. There should have been 4 bath towels, 4 washcloths, and 2 hand towels for every full size bathroom. Per our rental agreement if the cabin has a washer and dryer the guests are responsible for laundering their towels as needed.
While the online listing was overall accurate, there was several things that were not up to expectation. The hot tub was unusable due to it being dirty and the jets were not fully working. The pool table was falling apart and not level. We experienced the microwave almost catching fire by just using the timer on it. Attempted to call the manager our first full day and did not receive a call back until attempting to call again the following day and finally got a call back. The steps entering the cabin were not level and were very slick and my mother actually fell going into the cabin on our first night. Would not recommend this house for anyone with mobility issues. Also the bottom floor temperature is really cold but the top floor is really hot, so it was almost impossible to have everyone in a comfortable temperature in the cabin. The cold water had a ton of sulphur in it and the hot water was very irony. While the property manager did address a few of our concerns, they were done on our last day so many of the amenities we specifically rented this cabin for, were unusable. Unfortunately we were very disappointed in the cabin.

Warm regards,
We loved our stay here. Clean, cozy, and my teens loved the pool table and hot tub. The foos ball table is broken and we never could get the cable to work in the living room, but we weren’t watching much tv anyway. Overall we had a wonderful stay here and would book again in the future.
Prior to check in was called three times to input driver’s license and sign an online form. Did so, then got to the cabin. Main couch in living area was covered with a blanket because faux leather was peeling from it’s ancient surfaces which covered a severely distorted sleeper frame. Our five year old couldn’t even tolerate the couch. So the main living area was a place our family could not gather in. Trees closely surround the cabin and there is no view to speak of. Photos showed a foosball table, hot tub, and looked very promising. But when we arrived, noted foosball table was broken in multiple places and duct taped together - rendering it un-usable. Hot tub smelled bad and there was no way any of us would step in. There was no mention of Bear precautions in the cabin, but the next door neighbor warned us that bears found the front porch of the cabin we rented a favorite location. The next morning, the empty, heavy garbage can which was secured to the front porch was overturned. Called the office multiple times and was sent straight to voicemail. Also called the number listed for “If you need any help..” And the woman who answered was immediately defensive and said, “I only clean the place, you have to call the office, but they don’t usually respond. Send them an email if they don’t call you back in an hour.” No one returned our emails or phone calls. We had booked four nights, only stayed the first night because we arrived too late and were too exhausted to secure other accommodations.
There are many great cabins in the Smoky Mountains. This was not one of them. Avoid this cabin and company. We are disputing charges. This was an extremely disappointing experience.

Thank you for your review Elio. We hope you come back and visit again soon.
The property was exactly as depicted. The only thing I would suggest the the host is to invest in another trash can for trash when you leave, for us the office in pigeon forge for 25 mins out of the way so we had to find a dumpster in town... if they don’t invest in another can, just plan that into the morning you leave.
Overall it was a great stay and the location was just what we were looking for!

What a wonderful time we had at the Honey Bear cabin! It wasnt so far from town that it was a burden to travel, nor too close where you could hear all the vehicles nearby. We could come back during the day and relax in peace to recharge. If you want a place away from everyone, this is the place to be.

Disappointed
I am not usually one to leave a review (especially a negative one) but I have to say we were very disappointed in our stay at this cabin. We did not like the location AT ALL. It was way to far away from town. If you are planning to stay only at the cabin and not venture out for fun and activities then it would be fine. But to stay here and then leave to go out is a pain and very stressful! Probably the worst negative remark I will have to warn about is the roach problem! When we walked in, the first thing we saw were bugs crawling everywhere in the kitchen and bathrooms. We had to grab ziploc bags immediately to make sure our food was covered good. Even though we turned our heat up to 73 degrees, the bottom floor was always cold!! The ones who slept down there literally came home sick with sore throats and colds. We had problems also with the dryer wanting to stop in the middle of the drying cycle. We had to start it twice to completely dry the clothes. The POOL TABLE top was ripped which was a major let down since this was a "requirement" for our stay. I also was not happy with the fact we were told if we have more trash than the ONE can would hold we would need to bring our bags into town and use the dumpster behind the check in area. I would never use this cabin again nor would I ever be able to recommend it to anyone. I did give it a "2" because it was a very pretty cabin and other than the BUGS was actually very clean.

Beautiful cabin. Could be a little cleaner.
We loved the cabin! My mom didn’t feel comfortable getting in hot tub even though Stephanie explained it was probably decomposition from the lid of the hot tub. Also, Mom said there is mold on the shower curtain on main floor. She loved the cabin and the deck! We had a great stay! Thank you!
