Bayfront Spectacular Sunsets!

Thanks for considering our property! We are no longer accepting reservations for 2022, but are happy to accept multi-week requests for 2023!

Extended families enjoy this beautiful bay front home on West Point Island, an exclusive area of Lavallette. Boat owners will have dock space; kayak lovers can paddle out from our backyard. Kitchen was designed by a professional chef. WPI has its own bay beach and playground, and the town's bay beach and playground (including basketball and tennis courts) is a stone's throw away as well. Ocean beach is a pleasant walk or bike ride away (less than a mile). Covered, bay front deck and outside furniture make this place a summer paradise. Two upstairs bedrooms also have a bay side deck. Outside shower. Wifi. Three televisions with cable/pay per view/DVD. Off street parking for multiple cars.
BEDROOM arrangement: the master bedroom upstairs has a queen bed and an en suite bathroom and a deck off of it. There are three other bedrooms upstairs: two with two twins each; the third with a queen bed and futon, also off the upstairs deck. Both rooms with queens have bay views. There is one bedroom on the main floor with a double bed, a pull-out double/queen sofa, and a private bathroom. Also, the sofa in the family/TV room has a pull-out full/queen sofa. Great views and wonderful covered porch!

Had a wonderful week - great location, kitchen had all we needed to cook. The covered porch overlooking the bay was wonderful - great cool breezes most of the time and magnificent sunsets. Easy to get to ocean or island park with volleyball which we enjoyed. Great to be able to dock boat and the boys enjoyed fishing and catching some fluke.

Fantastic 2 Weeks

We truly enjoyed our stay at Casa Del Sol. Diane and Steve were Tremendous in their hospitality. The Home was extremely clean and very well stocked. The rear deck overlooking the bay was amazing but their Dock at water level was just as beautiful. Our Family all agreed our NEW Favorite spot in Lavallette. Thank you for an awesome 2 weeks.

Tranquility on the Bay

What a beautiful home. The owner, Diane & Steve, we’re so gracious and helpful. They have everything that you need in their home. The kitchen is superb! A cooks delight. Sitting out on the balcony is a special treat. If you love sunsets, this is the place to be!

Exceeded Expectations

We knew we would be staying at an excellent home based on the property listing and other reviews, but we were blown away by the outdoor living, professional kitchen comfortable beds and modern bathrooms. There is plenty of room to spread out, enjoy the views, and take in all that the bay has to offer. We kayaked to two different islands, enjoyed the clean and spacious Lavalette beaches, and loved the neighborhood. The park and sand beach are just a couple of blocks away. You can't go wrong with Ortley Seafood Market and we also had a great experience with renting linens and beach equipment from The Shore List in Lavallette. Diane is a fantastic host and was always available with any questions we had. We definitely plan to be back.

West Point Island Vacay

My family booked our trip to WPI Lavallette last year during COVID., not sure what to expect as the time came to finally go. Everything was perfect., as I had read every review and detail on the house and it was spot on. Clean, comfortable and beautiful. We woke up in the morning and had coffee on the deck looking at the view of the Bay. Every evening we did the same. WPI is an amazing location and this house is in my opinion, one of the best homes on the Island. Location! Location! My favorite part of the house was the kitchen. More equipped than my own. If you need a strainer, there are 3 of them., in all different sizes., same as the coffee machines, ect. Basically, two master bedrooms., a fun game room and tons of little extras., you only need to bring your clothes! I will rent again., and am so happy we booked when we did. Thank you Diane!!

Sunsets !

Overall property was immaculate and the views over the bay are spectacular. Diane was very responsive and we loved the layout of the house... we could easily social distance...especially on the porch. Hoping to come back (POST COVID!)

Wowza!!!

This beautiful house on Barnegat Bay is exactly as pictured. When you walk in the first word out of everyone is “WOW” this place is great! It is a wonderful space for entertaining with sit down for 20. The kitchen is the best equipped of any I have seen. The porch was an absolute haven where we spent many hours enjoying the view. We will definitely be back. Diane, the owner, could not have been more responsive to any request. We love this house!!

Hidden Gem on Barnaget Bay

This beautiful home on Barnegat Bay is an absolute joy! I have stayed here at various points in all seasons of the year and each brings its own unique beauty. The interior of the home is very spacious and beautifully, yet comfortably, decorated. There is plenty of space for gatherings or for spreading out for some alone time. The kitchen is a wonderful space for cooking - for chefs and beginners alike. For my husband and I, and our family, the highlight is all of the rooms with window space providing views of Barnaget Bay and especially the house-length deck overlooking the Bay. The sunsets are absolutely magnificent! And there are the daily visits to the docks by the swans. The owners are very warm and personable. The house is well-maintained. The ocean beach is walkable; the shops, restaurants and Seaside Heights amusement pier are minutes away. I can't say enough about this home!
