Isla Palmares is a highly secured low-rise complex of five condo buildings on the grounds of the famous PGA Championship El Tigre Golf Course and part of the Paradise Village complex. Reviewed as one of the Top 10 Best golf courses in the country by Golf Guide Magazine & Golf in Mexico Magazine. Puerto Vallarta is quickly becoming synonymous with world-class golf, and Paradise Village’s El Tigre Golf Course has just raised the standard with its new upscale championship facilities and exclusive country club. The El Tigre Golf Club gated community is only a 15 minute drive from Puerto Vallarta's international airport. From the condo it is just a short walk out of the complex to a world class marina, several recreational activities, shopping center with restaurants and retail stores, 5 star hotel, a casino, a bank, medical services and more.

As a guest at La Joya, if you buy the Social Pass, you have full use of the complete Fitness Club, which includes pickle ball, squash and tennis courts, 25 meter lap pool, full gymnasium, children’s play area, large well equipped fitness room and workout classes and a spa. Please note that there is a small fee to use the extra facilities paid to the golf course administration (now $440 pesos per week per person at the time of writing) and there are fees to play golf.

The private 5-star beach club, Playa Royale, is a pleasant 10-or-so minute walk and is also included in the Social pass. Or take the free shuttle to the beach club where you can take advantage of the towel service, swimming pool and reserved palapas and lounge chairs on the huge and stunning Vallarta beach, while ordering lunch or snacks and your favourite cold beverage. It is one of our favourite places in the world to relax in the late afternoon and watch the sun as it sets over the Pacific ocean.

Isla Palmares is a high-security complex with multiple pools with palapas and communal barbeques. Condo features: well-equipped full kitchen with gas stove with grill and oven, large fridge, toaster, microwave, blender, coffee maker, dishwasher; washer/ dryer; 3 Smart TVs (65, 55 and 43 inches); free wireless high speed internet; telephone landline with free calls in North America, two terraces with table and chairs and wicker conversation set; original art; quality mattresses; modern showers and sinks, luxurious towels (bath, hand, facecloth, beach). Please note that we do not offer television programming but that you an use your own accounts on the smart TVs and Rocket Stick.

The master bedroom has a king-sized bed, plenty of cupboard storage, terrace access and a high end en suite bathroom with walk in shower.

Bedroom 2 has a pair of single beds that can be put together as a king and has access to the 2nd terrace which is shared with the master.

The kitchen opens onto the open living area with vaulted ceiling and then onto the large very private terrace which faces south over the pools to the beautiful view of the Sierra Madre mountains. Being on the 3rd floor, you look out into the tops of palm trees and the birds that frequent them.

The living room has new custom furniture and the huge sofa converts to a king-sized bed, but it is not that comfortable and should be used only for one adult or kids in our opinion. The kitchen island has modern stools for enjoying a margarita while snacks or meals are being prepared.

We love art and we are slowly adding modern art touches to the entire condo. Some local and others sourced internationally.

Just north of Puerto Vallarta, Mexico and on the same grand beach that lines most of Banderas Bay, Mexico's Nuevo Vallarta in Riviera Nayarit is the perfect sun holiday destination. Just 10 minutes north from the Puerto Vallarta airport, it sits at the foot of the Sierra Madre Mountain range with spectacular mountain views and long, sandy beaches. The interesting beach and surf towns of Bucerias and Sayulita and many others are a short trip away. You can take a liesurely bike ride to Bucerias or taxi there and and after a coffee, gelato or cerveza, walk all the way back along the beach

Nuevo Vallarta is a delightful slower-paced respite from the frantic life of the big cities and when you are ready for a bit more variety in your nightlife, Puerto Vallarta is a short drive, taxi or bus-ride away. The whole area is considered to be one of the safest places in Mexico. Please use restraint when using air conditioning and shut it off when away from the apartment. Besides being the right thing to do for the environment, electricity is very expensive in Mexico. Excessive use of electricity will be charged to the damage deposit.
