Welcome to sunset lover’s paradise. This 1,900 square foot waterfront home sleeps eight, with one king bed, one queen, two twins, one sleeper sofa and two bathrooms. It also includes a two-car garage. Actually, it sleeps nine if you count your dog. This is one of the few dog-friendly rentals on the Island.

Natural light through arched, shuttered windows brightens the interior, lighting up the coral-hued tile and showcasing wooden and leather furnishings as comfortable as they are stylish. Fragrant flowers and indoor ferns throughout the house add a tropical accent.

The modern kitchen features granite countertops, wooden cabinets, and barstool chairs along the raised countertop. It comes complete with all the modern appliances and cookware you need to serve a family dinner on a table with a water view.

The palatial master suite is adorned with cherry wood bedroom furniture and features sliding glass doors that open up to the lanai, sending you to sleep each night to fragrant ocean breezes and the sound of rustling palms. The en suite bathroom comes with his and hers sinks and both a bathtub and walk-in shower. All three bedrooms are furnished with plenty of closet and drawer space, along with a television.

Out on the brick lanai, fire up the gas grill and serve a family barbeque on the shaded table. As you float in the heated pool looking out at the still waterway lined with palm trees, you’ll think, “It doesn’t get any better than this.” Actually, it does. The house has western exposure, which is another way of saying, “Get ready to experience some of the most magnificent sunsets you’ve ever seen.” A table and row of sun loungers are your front row seats.

If you’re a boater, the private dock gives you direct access to the world-class fishing of the Gulf of Mexico.

The house offers comfort-enhancing amenities like air conditioning, free wi-fi, cable, and a washer and dryer. You also have bikes to tour the island, along with beach essentials like an umbrella, beach chairs and cooler for that short drive to the silken sands and turquoise water of the Paradise Coast.

When you need to do some shopping, you’re just a short walk from the Shops of Marco, where you’ll find salons, boutiques, and plenty of restaurants.
