About this property

3BR, 2BA + loft area. Sleeps 11 total in beds.

3-night minimum stay is required during 2021. Flexible cancellation policy during COVID-19 pandemic, and we are abiding by all local Tuolumne County Health Public Health policies during this time, including a 24h waiting period prior to cleaners entering after your stay.

Cabin was built lovingly in the 1950’s, and maintains the quiet cabin-in-the-woods feel of the original Cedar Haven, while boasting 2 upgraded bathrooms.

Downstairs includes Queen bed and bathroom with shower. Downstairs living area is perfect for kids to hang out; includes cozy seating and a TV + DVD/Blue Ray player and XBox for the kiddos. Assorted kids' DVDs available. Please note, there is no Wifi!

Main floor includes a Queen bed and 1 full bathroom (shower plus separate tub), kitchen (including bar that seats 2), living and dining area. Dining room table seats 8 comfortably. Enjoy a relaxing breakfast filled with sunshine on the huge front porch. Living room area includes TV with DVD/Blue Ray player and VHS (excellent VHS library of your favorite 80's movies included for your viewing pleasure). Kitchen is fully stocked with dishes and cooking implements, refrigerator, stove & electric cooktop, dishwasher, microwave, coffee maker, and toaster.

Upstairs includes a Double bedroom, and in the loft you’ll find 2 more double beds + a twin bed.

Brand new 100% cotton duvets and extra blankets will keep you warm on cool winter evenings.

Linens and towel service is available for an additional flat fee of $100, or bring your own and pay no fee.

Septic-friendly toilet paper included in your rental.
High chair and 1 baby gate for stairs are available.
Dog friendly with additional fee of $50 per night per dog. A separate Dog Agreement with doggie rules stated must be signed--contact owner for details.

Walking distance to nearby South Fork of the Stanislaus River. A short walk or bike ride away from Strawberry Inn Restaurant and the Strawberry Store. From Strawberry Store you can hike to nearby Pinecrest Lake, or take the short 3mile drive there and spend the day on the beautiful lake.

Offstreet parking for 6 cars.

Booking is not fully confirmed until, a signed rental agreement and copy of a government-issued photo ID is received by owner via email, and deposit is received.

Best place and feels like home.

My family and I loved the 2 night stay. We really needed an extra day stay. Breathtaking sites. Absolutely lovely and very home feeling. If you forgot something, it will be there! I loved the movie and book selections!

a very pleasant weekend

We all enjoyed the cabin very much. The kitchen was adequately stocked with utensils, and to our pleasant surprise there was lots of comfortable seating in the living room area. The bathrooms were both updated and super clean.

Clean, dated cabin.

Abby was very prompt and responsive to communications. The cabin was as advertised with updated bathrooms, comfortable beds and a working kitchen. The decor and kitchen were from the 1960’s and was probably once a wonderful family cabin.

Beautiful fireplace and cedar walls throughout transport you to a time when life was simpler and slower. Check out our signature wall that still commemorates visitors starting from the 1950's. Modern amenities like updated bathrooms, TVs, and kitchen appliances still provide the comfort of modern home.

What makes this property unique

Great location that is walk-able to the Strawberry store. Even closer, the river is just a four minutes walk down the hill where you can dip your toes, fish, or relax by the water.
