We stayed here for a week. The house had everything we needed. Spacious, clean and quiet. Neighbors were so kind. The views were spectacular. Willl stay here again for sure. Such a great location. We loved it!

This was an okay place to stay.They were very gracious and prompt when we asked for things. Gineli was awesome about getting us water and getting us set up with golf cart rentals. A few new bath mats would make a big difference, the ones there are pretty grungy. 3/4 of the stove burners smoke really bad so you can’t cook with them. Adding the quiet times to the welcome sign ( the one with wifi info etc.) would be good. Our neighbour said we couldn’t be out on the front deck prior to 8 am and we didn’t know. We are early risers so tend to be up and busy before that but had we known we would have been quieter. Thank you for being courteous when we asked for things!

Perfect location

We had 3 couples & this location and set up worked perfectly for us. The south end of the island is ideal as it's quieter with much less traffic but everything you need. The house was clean and well appointed. We enjoyed & would definitely go back!

Perfect location S of town. Don't miss Somewhere South 1 block down for all meal types. Condo was great with all amenities needed. Just bring shorts and flip flops and relax.

Nice island, poorly kept place

First the good stuff: Ambergris is a great place-- great scuba and snorkeling, friendly local people, bustling little town, not a lot of hustlers, you can walk along the beachfront seemingly forever. The golf carts are a blast to drive and it is easy to find your way around. There is a very laid-back vibe to the island that is hard to find in many holiday destinations nowadays. We felt safe at all times. Now the not so good stuff: there is a lot of trash on the island and especially on the beaches. It gives the overall impression that the island is in a state of decay/people have no care for the environment. Groceries are expensive, (but hey, it's an island). There is quite a bit of construction going on. This condo is well situated about 15-20 minutes golf cart ride to San Pedro. The view from the front door is fabulous. The air conditioning units work well. The pool is a nice temperature, but there are only 8 or 10 beach loungers to sit on poolside. Unfortunately, the condo itself is in a state of disrepair (eg stove needs to be replaced- one burner completely non-functional and stove controls were 'hit and miss'; mish-mash of crockery/cutlery; insufficient and dirty outdoor chairs; indoor seating/dining space insufficient for 7 people; inadequate cleaning supplies like brooms/dustpans). The bathrooms are dated and a bit basic, but at least the water was hot. The wifii does not extend to the upstairs bedrooms, and is spotty, so if you plan to work while you are there, think again. The property neighbours/other residents were friendly and helpful. However, there was a near continuous waft of cannabis smoke in the vicinity, which was offensive. Overall, this condo is fine if you plan to eat out most of the time and are not spending too much time in the condo itself.

Grainne, thank you for your review. We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience experienced during your stay. We're pleased to inform you that upon inspection, all stove burners are working properly. Additionally, we've purchased a new can opener to replace the missing one, and there are ample utensils and cookware available for guests' use. More chairs have been recently added to accommodate outdoor seating, and there is sufficient seating inside as well. A broom and dustpan are also provided in the home. We are currently working on improving the WiFi connectivity in the upper bedroom with the installation of a WiFi booster. Thank you again for this valuable information, as we always welcome the opportunity to improve. We hope to have another chance to impress you on a future stay!

We enjoyed the accommodation and location very much. Beds were comfortable. Small grocery store nearby had what we needed for some of our home meals and snacks. We liked being out of the main strip area as it was quieter yet still close enough to head into town for restaurants.

Quiet resort with much to offer, and not far from the action. Clean comfortable condo with an amazing common area with a pool, outside dinning area, grills, hammocks, corn hole, and kayaks for your use. We loved it and will definitely be back in the future.

Beautiful!

The condo was great, it’s in a great spot with beautiful views. We like being a little outside of town, but still close to go have fun (about 15 min by golf cart.) It was just the right size for us, we really appreciated that there were 3 full bathrooms. Be warned if does say two single beds, it’s a twin bed with a pull out trundle. Totally workable, but not two separate beds. It was fine for us as we didn’t need it but be aware. The pool was nice, it was always clean. I will say getting things like towels was a little harder. While Ana was very responsive sometimes the service from the people actually taking stuff to the condos was slow, we requested more bath towels on Thursday afternoon and they didn’t show up until Saturday. Overall it was awesome though. It met all our needs, was comfortable and in a great spot. We really loved that for the excursions we booked we could get picked up on the dock in front of the condo. We would totally stay there again!

Overall satisfied with the property however a few of the amenities were less than what was projected in the listing such as the barbecue grills one half decent the other one was just a bucket of rust! As well as the snorkeling gear was unavailable or non-existent one of the two! At our place we ran out of toilet paper and there were no extra garbage sacks and we ran out of shampoo conditioner and bar soap as well

Once these supplies run out it is the responsibility of our guests to provide any additional supplies throughout the remainder of their stay. Supplies are restocked before each guest. We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused during your time with us. We apologize for the issues that you experienced with the grill and the missing snorkeling gear. We have forwarded these concerns to our local manager to address with the homeowner and we greatly appreciate you bringing these issues to our attention. Great place to stay

This is a great little property. The view off the balcony looks like a postcard, it's so perfect. You are right on the beach in front of a nice little pier where your tour guides may pick you up. We had a great time. I think this is a good place for 7 people. With 8, someone would have to sleep on the couch. It's clean and has everything you want. A/C was fine. It was all great, really. The location is quiet..on the south edge of the island out of the main part of the city. There's a little bodega (expensive and small, but very convenient) right next to it, and three restaurants within a couple of blocks. You will need a golf cart or taxi if you want to go into San Pedro. I was very happy with this place. Would stay there again for sure.

We really enjoyed out stay here. The 3 bedroom 3 bath unit was perfect for us! The oceanfront location gave us spectacular views! The folks who own there and stay over the winter were so nice and friendly - we really enjoyed their company! The location is perfect - close enough to San Pedro proper to be able to go out to dinner yet far away enough for peace and quiet. You DO need a golf cart however to get around. We'll be back!

About a 15 minute golf cart ride to the heart of town but several things are much closer. The minimart right on the corner by the condo is so convenient and easily walkable. The property and grounds were extremely well kept and landscaped beautifully. We had the pool to ourself each day and enjoyed the view of the ocean. Communication was top notch and the property managers and staff on site who helped us can’t be thanked enough. We would stay here again without hesitation!!

This place was everything we hoped it would be! The layout was perfect for our group of 4, the two floors allowed plenty of privacy. The location was perfect. About a 15 minute golf cart ride to the heart of town but several things are much closer. The minimart right on the corner by the condo is so convenient and easily walkable. The property and grounds were extremely well kept and landscaped beautifully. We had the pool to ourself each day and enjoyed the view of the ocean. Communication was top notch and the property managers and staff on site who helped us can’t be thanked enough. Special thanks to Rosemary who helped us with our puddle jumpers and rescheduled several times due to the many flight delays we experienced getting to Belize. George (our ground transportation on the island) was wonderful, as well. We would stay here again without hesitation!!

Chill Place in Paradise

We couldn’t have been happier with our stay. This unit is the perfect distance away from the hustle and bustle of San Pedro. Easy to relax but close enough to go into town for dinner.
