Mountain Dreams really is a dream come true for anyone in search of a Gatlinburg getaway that can accommodate up to 11 people. The log home includes four bedrooms spread out over three floors, plus luxuries including an outdoor hot tub, an indoor jetted tub, a pool table, and an arcade.
The great room, which makes up much of Mountain Dreams’ main floor, is just as welcoming and comfortable as you’d want a Smoky Mountain cabin to be. Amid lustrous knotty-pine walls, a cathedral ceiling and a stone-surround gas fireplace are plump sofas that invite you to settle back to watch a movie on the flat-panel TV, play charades or catch up with family and friends.
Because Mountain Dreams is less than 10 minutes from downtown Gatlinburg, you’ll have plenty of restaurants just beyond your doorstep. Once you see the open, spacious kitchen, you might opt to eat in instead. Its gleaming granite countertops and shining stainless-steel appliances are sure to inspire you to new culinary heights. There’s an electric grill outdoors as well. If you reel in some trout from one of the nearby streams, you can grill it for a true Smoky Mountain feast. With a table that seats six and a breakfast bar that accommodates five, the dining area can host the entire crowd.
After dinner, you can head upstairs or downstairs to unwind. Upstairs is the game room where you can shoot pool at the full-size billiard table, try your hand at the arcade, sit down to play checkers or chess at the game table, watch TV or just hang out with family and friends—isn’t that what a vacation is all about? Downstairs is the den, with a leather sectional sofa that provides a front-row seat for watching a movie or a ball game on the oversize flat-screen TV with cable.
Mountain Dreams’ covered decks, which look out onto gorgeous, wooded vistas, are also great places for kicking back. Wrens and warblers during the day and whip-poor-wills and owls at night add to the rustic ambiance. There’s room for the whole gang to savor the fresh mountain air, with the porch swing, the Adirondack chairs and—our favorite—the lower deck’s hot tub as idyllic resting spots.
Of Mountain Dreams’ four bedrooms, two can be considered primary suites. One is located upstairs, the other on the main floor, and both include a king-size bed, a TV, a ceiling fan and a private bathroom. The main floor’s en-suite bathroom even has a sumptuous jetted tub—just the thing for rejuvenating your weary muscles after an action-packed day and putting you in a relaxed (and even romantic) frame of mind.
The remaining two bedrooms are downstairs both having their own flat-screen TVs. One includes a full-size bed; the other, with twin-over-full bunk beds, can sleep three. These bedrooms share a large bathroom. If you have additional guests, you can convert one of the great room’s sofas into another bed for two.
When you stay at Mountain Dreams in the summer, there’s a bonus feature! Because the house is within the 65-acre Mountain Shadows Resort, you’ll have free access to its swimming pool and patio area.
Mountain Dreams is also within the Gatlinburg Arts and Crafts Loop, an eight-mile trail of more than 120 galleries, studios and shops. What’s more, in just 10 minutes you can drive to the entrance of the Great Smoky Mountains National Park, home to waterfalls, hiking trails, historic cabins and some of the highest ridges of the Appalachian range. Equally close is downtown Gatlinburg, whose attractions include Ripley’s Aquarium of the Smokies, the Guinness World Records Adventure, mini golf, thrill rides and more. Even the attractions of Pigeon Forge, including Dollywood, are only a short drive away.
Make your dream vacation a reality and book your stay at Mountain Dreams today. We can’t wait to see you!

There was no running water when we arrived. We text and called to report and during our call we were told that they were aware of the issue (but had never alerted us) and if it couldn’t be fixed we would be relocated. After 4 hours the water was working again. However, toilets didn’t flush properly, some sinks struggled to have enough pressure to run and the hot tub smells as if it hasn’t been cleaned (there were beers spilled inside the interior compartment). We asked the rental company to fix the toilets and were told they would be addressed after our departure. They were also non responsive when asked for a partial refund. The location of the cabin is nice. It has not been well maintained and I question how it could have been properly cleaned prior to our arrival without running water.
Thank you so much for taking the time to leave an excellent rating. We really appreciate your business. Please let us know what we can do for you in the future.
Lovely cabin but needa a few repairs and also wouldn't hurt to get new mattress in master bedroom.

Clean, just as described, well-kept, very pleasing
The property was great. Perfect for what we needed. Very well maintained and clean. Only complaint was alarm system was set and no code given. When we called to request the code, the man was curt and not apologetic. All in all, we loved the cabin and hope to rent it again.

Thank you Cassandra for staying with us. We are glad to hear the property was perfect for your getaway. We are sorry that you had trouble with the alarm going off when you arrived at Mountain Dreams. We strive to give nothing but excellent customer service. When listening back to the recorded conversation, with the noise of the alarm going the alarm code he was giving wasn't heard and he raised the tone of his voice to be heard. With that said, we appreciate your feedback and will continue to strive to excellence. Again, thank you for staying. We hope you will stay with us again on your next trip to the Smokies.
We loved the cabin! It was very spacious with 3 levels each level had a room and bathroom. There was 11 of us and we all slept comfortably. Our kids loved the theatre room and game room. There wasn’t any yard so no outside play but there was a swing set and basketball goal down the road. It’s like a small cabin community with a lot of cabins on top of one another but it was still very peaceful. Everything in this cabin worked and we had no issues the entire stay. Check in and out was all done through email which I personally loved. Would definitely stay here again!
My husband and I were sleeping on the second level and had some kind of a critter or critters gnawing or scratching inside the walls at night multiple nights in a row keeping us awake.
Love the amenities. However lighting could use some tlc. The kitchen is under lit with harsh color bulbs. the porches only have a single very white light by the door. Nothing over the hot tub area. Simple rope lights strung around the porches would be very nice. Also no shower in the master bedroom just the giant jetted tub. Enjoyed our stay very much though.

The cabin was nice however check in and check out times were poor
All in all not really worth the money for the amount of time they give you at the cabin. I think poorly of the 4pm check in and 10am check out. The cabin was booked for 3 days 2 nights. Day 1 you cant check in till 4pm! day 3 they keep blasting your email to make sure you check our be 10am! That's hardly 3 days. In my opinion, cabin rentals are becoming a thing of the past with these rules.

Great proximity; decent accommodations
Upon arrival and based on other renters’ reviews, we had to call the management company to get the check-in, security information to setting off the alarm. It took us calling twice to get the correct information. A few things to note with the house: several closet doors In multiple rooms were removed from the closets, simply leaning against the walls (very much a hazard for our small children); the kitchen and bathroom faucets were all broken, making it very difficult to use and control the water temperatures; the cleanliness was subpar across the unit; and the bed/sheets were very low quality.
While the proximity to Gatlinburg was nice, we would not book this place again due to the aforementioned details.

Nice location but cabin with problems
The cabin was cute but needed some TLC. Hinges on doors needed tighten as you couldn’t fully open many doors. One bedroom door had a loose handle. One bathroom had half of a toliet paper holder! Had to keep on back of toliet. One of the dining room table chairs was broke. There were wires hanging out of living room ceiling fan/light and it did not work. Hot tub leaked. We called about hot tub first day and all that was done was to fill it up. It continued to leak to the point were the jets were shooting right out of tub on window. We had to keep filling to get to stop. We called again and informed of light issue as well. We asked for hot tub to be turned off if could not be fixed. It was not and we stopped filling on our own and it eventually almost completely emptied. Light and fan were never fixed either. Overall did not feel very clean. Dated. Outdoor furniture very dirty.
Would not recommend unless issues are addressed!
Unresponsive host, no fix for issues reported. No water pressure for hot water in kitchen sink, random leaky fridge. Cabin could use a good deep clean, all wooden trim around majority of doors and windows are visibly dirty, sticky & grimey. Not enough towels left for 10 people, very poor quality linens on beds, and no pillow cases. Several mattresses could use a replacement. Hot & cold water switched in downstairs bathroom!! Didn’t figure that out until days into our stay when half of our party had been taking cold showers. Doors of closets unattached and/or off track.

Your Jackson Mountain team
The place had no paper towels no 409 or anything to clean the countertops and they had no aluminum foil Ziploc bags or anything like that.
You had to supply your own spices, salt and pepper and a few other places I have stayed always had condiments in the refrigerator but this place had nothing..
This property is in serious need of maintenance. We arrived to a broken toilet and a very hot bedroom upstairs. Then the upstairs shower leaked in to the master bathroom.
The stay at the cabin was soo nice, we enjoyed every part of it! We got to see bears, kids and parents loved it and would totally stay there many more times. (: 100% Recommend
House was nice view was beautiful but location was noisy
No fault Of the property Owner but the location of the cabin was a group
Of cabins close together and the people in the cabins nearby were very noisy and disturbing each night! I will note we were not able to figure out how to turn on the jacuzzi tub (I do not know if it was operator error or if it was faulty), there are NO hot pads for taking hot items Out of the oven and the burners to not Operate Properly therefore you have to be careful when cooking on the cooktop! Maybe the owner will see this review and tend to these! The cabin itself was just what we wanted! Plenty of space For All Of us and nicely Laid out for a family With children!
