Das Ferienhaus liegt etwa 20 min Fahrt mit dem Auto von Brügge entfernt in einem ruhigen Örtchen. Uns hat die Ruhe sehr gefallen. Wir haben verschiedene Ausflüge gemacht, die super gut mit dem Auto erreichbar sind: Gent, Ostende, Zeeland, Frankreich, Brügge sowieso. Es ist aber auch schön, einfach den Garten und den Pool zu genießen. Einkaufsmöglichkeiten und Restaurants sind mit dem Auto in ca. 10 min erreichbar. Das Ferienhaus hat genügend Platz für 8 Personen, besonders der Aufenthaltsbereich mit den großen Tischen in Küche und Wohnzimmer waren für uns ausreichend um gemütlich zu essen oder zu spielen. Besonders toll war der Garten und der Pool, in dem wir auch bei weniger gutem Wetter geplanscht haben, da er beheizt ist (29-30 Grad). Wir haben den Außengrill benutzt und auch am Außenkamin den Abend genossen. Die Fahrräder sind ok so dass wir einen kleinen Ausflug machen konnten. Was für weitere Reisen wichtig ist, aber in der Beschreibung der Villa nicht erwähnt wird, ist, dass das eine Zimmer ein Durchgangszimmer ist. Das war für uns etwas unbequem, weil wir mit mehreren Pärchen gefahren sind. Wir hatten etwas Probleme mit den Zimmertüren, die z.B. im Bad, in der Toilette und im großen Übernachtungszimmer nicht zuzuschließen gingen und mit den Fenstern, die wir nur kippen konnten. Zudem ist es ratsam Mückenspray mitzubringen. Wenn der Wind nachgelassen hat, hatten wir wirklich viele Mücken in allen Zimmern. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und können die Unterkunft weiterempfehlen.

Zeer aardige gastheer. Schoon groot huis met warm zwembad zelf nu nog (okt) tot 30grd. Grote kamers iets gedateerd. Gezellige grote leef keuken. Tuin met openbaard, bbq en Gooische kap heel knus voor s’ avonds buiten zitten. We zouden het zo weer boeken.
