The size of this lot was unbeatable and made all the difference In our stay with a toddler, an infant, and 2 dogs! So much privacy and room to roam, without the danger of a road close by. The camp was incredibly clean and well stocked. Sunsets are amazing and the 180+ degree view from the camp cannot be beat. Owners are on site and so friendly. Only challenge was WiFi which was not working well at the time for working remotely. We would love to return to this camp!
The cottage is very comfortable but sunroom is the best! The view of the lake is dramatic, especially when the sun is setting. Every room, including the kitchen, has what you need. The huge field behind the house is perfect for running your dog. Highly recommend!
Friendly owners. They came over 3 times to check on how we were doing. House was very clean and accommodating. Nice location for the property but not ideal for swimming. Very rocky (and lots of clam shells). The shore was full of "smelly gunk" due to low rain fall. The overwhelming smell from the local farm kept us inside the first night, which was concerning, but it got better as the week went on. Problems with the WiFi, though the owners were always quick to respond and tried to help.
We enjoyed our week at the cottage! It was so nice to be on the lake, and the west-facing glassed-in family room was our favorite part! The only note I'd make is that the lake chose to be quite algae-filled in mid-July, which we waded through to launch our kayaks and paddle boards.
Heather and Matt - thanks for an amazing, relaxing week at the lake. It was great spending quality time with the family and not having any schedules to dictate our time. When we asked for some small thing that we needed, it was promptly brought to us.
Great property, great cottage. Had everything we needed. 45 minutes to Stowe and 45 minutes to Burlington. 5 minutes to grocery store. Great sunsets. Heather and Matt were very accommodating.
