Nice, comfortable cabin with good privacy. Great accommodation for the price. Lenient cancellation policy was also very reassuring during the COVID pandemic.
Good views from the deck of the hills across the valley with cabins; not much by way of downhill views. One day a bear was "sun tanning" on the road, then came up into the yard, sniffed around the fire pit, went to the back and tested out the locked garbage cans, then ambled off to the neighbor's yard.
Plenty of room for our group of 9 adults, 2 kids, and 3 cars. Bedrooms had ample closet space and dresser drawers. I was initially worried about enough hot water supply for 3 full bathrooms, but there was no problem. Kitchen was well appointed -- range, fridge, dishwasher, microwave, toaster, blender, pots/pans, plates, glasses, cups, cutlery, ... Pool table, foosball, and darts were a hit with the kids.
Floor plan felt a little funny initially -- first floor is the main living area, but entrance is on the ground floor (which felt like a basement despite windows all around). Master bedroom (2nd floor) has a half wall looking down on the living area, so it felt a bit like a loft area. It was visually private, but sound would carry. There were some high windows at the 2nd floor level, but the blinds could not be reached from either floor, which blocked the views from the 2nd floor.
Carpet in the dining area (just adjoining the kitchen area) could use some shampooing. Bathrooms have A/C inlet ducts but no exhaust fans, so we had to open the windows to keep the air flowing outwards. That was a bit tricky on the ground floor -- didn't want to step away for a little while leaving the window open.
Overall, we had a great stay. Thanks. 🙂
