The host requires you to complete the following before checking out:
Start the dishwasher
Store extra beds
Remove leftover food and drinks and take out the rubbish
Turn off the lights
Leave elevator on the 2nd or 3rd floors.
Drape used towels over bathtub.
Exit out the garage, locking doors, and leave keys on the hook in the ground-floor foyer.
Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.
Memorial Day - Labor Day we only rent 7 nights; Saturday to Saturday.
$250 will be taken from damage deposit if large furniture is moved. Please do NOT MOVE glass table.
$250 fee for sand or debris left in hot tub. Use outdoor shower first (rinse swim suits!) to avoid additional charge.

Perfect location for beach getaway

We loved our week here! A perfect spot for a multi-generation gathering from age 4 to 78. The location is so close to the beach (with lifeguards), but away from the real crowds at other beach accesses. The back deck overlooking the sound is magnificent. All the house amenities were a huge hit - fitness room, pool and ping pong tables, grill and paddle boards. We couldn't have asked for more.

Wrightsville Beach

Great home directly across from the beach and with a lovely view of the intercoastal from the back yard. Very peaceful and relaxing.

Another enjoyable stay!

We just love this house and always enjoy our stay! The owner, Barbara, is always on top of things and is very responsive. We have already booked our 2024 week! This is a beautiful house with lots to do and in a great location!

Very nice home!

This is a spacious beautiful house that has everything. The shady back deck view over the tidal marsh is fantastic and the sunsets are stunning. Ocean views from 2 more decks in the front and the beach is a 2 minute walk across the street.

Thanksgiving retreat

This was an outstanding home with beautiful marsh views and ocean views. We especially enjoyed lounging on the decks, playing pool and working out in the weight room. ! The quality of finishes was second to none! Thanks to Barbara for a wonderful stay!

Our Beach Week

We have spent 53 summers in various cottages at our hometown Wrightsville Beach with family from TX, MA, NC. Our family proclaimed it one of the best we have ever stayed at. Beautiful sunset over the sound and beautiful moonrise over the ocean were a special blessing. Elevator was a must and main reason for chosing this beach home. Variety of beach equipment and water sports equipment.

As advertised

The house exceeded my expectations. Very clean and finished well. We had three families (6 adults 6 children) and were comfortable. Steps from the beach and the view of the sound from the back deck is spectacular. We cooked dinner at the house 3 or 4 times and found everything we needed. The garage was just as good in terms of beach gear. I could not have been happier with how everything worked out.

Excellent rental

We had a wonderful time at this home with our extended family of 9. The location is excellent, with great sound views and easy beach access via the public approach right across the street. The home is well equipped with an excellent exercise room, garage stocked full of beach equipment, and lots of books and games in the main living area. We had two minor issues related to check in— communication was initially difficult with the owner due to her internet being down, and the house cleaners were not finished until 630 pm or so as opposed to 4 pm on the arrival day. Overall, I would recommend this VRBO, particularly in the quiet wintertime.

Great place for a large group

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and found the house to be perfectly set up for a large Thanksgiving gathering. The kitchen has everything a cook needs. The dishwasher needs replacement (the owner has a new one on order and it is delayed due to the pandemic) and the primary oven (there are two) needs to have the temperature knobs calibrated (there was about a 100-degree play in the knob - not ideal for cooking a 20 lb. turkey!). The various decks and porches made it easy for smaller groups to gather separately - beautiful sunrise views and smashing sunset views! Adding more lighting to the living room would be a BIG improvement, especially when playing pool. Overall, it was just right for our group of all adults. Drinking coffee on the second story deck each morning was just perfect.

I have been renting with VRBO for over 15 years, and this is the most updated and stocked house we have been in. There is nothing in the house you could want that is not already there. Beautiful views of both the ocean and intercoastal waterway. Quiet neighborhood. Owner is absolutely fantastic to deal with. VRBO had a technical glitch with the reservation, but owner reached out and made sure everything worked perfectly for our daughter's wedding. Constant communication with her for months to alleviate any fears from the technical glitch. Everyone should rent with an owner like this.

We were there with 4 teenagers, a 10 yo, and three adults. Stormy week so beach time was limited. Plenty of room for everyone to spread out and find stuff to engage with: multiple tables for puzzles and games, multiple TVs, pool table. When the sun was shining we used the paddle boards, kayak, beach chairs, umbrellas, etc. Two adults were squeezing in a few hours of work each day and there were two ideal office spaces for that to get done.This was our second time staying there and would stay there again. The location cannot be beat and the sunsets from the back deck over the sound are amazing.

Very comfortable home with great views!

This is a lovely home to rent. In contrast to many VRBO listings, which don't leave much in the way of amenities, the owners of this home are kind enough to leave bicycles, kayaks, and other "toys" for guests' use. Even though we didn't have time to use them all, it was much appreciated. The only thing I would note is that the listed room with bunk beds, is inside the master suite. Depending on your group's configuration, that may or may not work for you. It was not a problem for us, but may not suit some groups.

Great house in a great town

This was the perfect house for our family getaway. The location is perfect - with the beautiful marsh sunsets and just steps from beach access, at the end of the island without much traffic. The amenities and equipment there is better than I've ever had at a rental - plenty of bikes, beach chairs, umbrellas, beach wagons to haul kiddos and stuff to the beach. Also two kayaks to take advantage of paddling through the marsh - wonderful! The kitchen and baths were supplied with paper products, trash bags, soap and shampoo - we felt right at home from the very beginning. I gave a 4/5 on cleanliness only because the hottub didn't seem very clean on our arrival - but the house was in great shape otherwise. Our family agreed that we would totally stay here again!

Beautiful home & location

Our family gathered to celebrate our daughter's college graduation and staying at a wonderful home on Wrightsville beach truly made it special time. The home is beautiful, well maintained and in a great location. The owners were responsive to a few minor issues we had. My family would not hesitate to visit this home again.

ideal house and location

A truly lovely house with gorgeous views. Everything we could think of was provided and more. A perfect place for a family from 2-65 and older. it had an elevator and cart so no schlepping groceries up 3 flights of stairs! Beds were comfy. We loved that there were 3 full-king beds as we had couples. loved the location overlooking the marsh- way more interesting than the ocean we thought and location on island is nice, not so busy at that end. Also nice to be able to walk around the marsh at this end. Host super responsive as well.

Amazing house and host!!

Our stay are Barbara’s house was amazing. The house itself was gorgeous and was perfect for our stay with friends. We ran into a couple of issues during our stay, but Barbara was extremely responsive and had the issues resolved immediately! I highly recommend this home!!One thing to note when renting this house is that the 5th bedroom with twin bunks is listed as off of the main bedroom. We missed that part when considering this house. The 5th bedroom is part of the main bedroom and doesn’t allow privacy for those staying in the main bedroom. This is good to note if looking for a true 5 bedroom house for 5 adult couples.
