This property was spacious for the 7 people staying there. It is always helpful to have a room with twin beds because my family has quite a few single adults to accommodate. The kitchen was well supplied, my only negative is that the shelves on the door of the refrigerator could use some cleaning and half of the freezer was taken up by ice packs that I assume belonged to the owner. The condo was listed as newly renovated. I guess the description was referring to some new furniture and bedspreads. The beds were very comfortable. The paint and carpet could use a refresh, as well as some new bathroom towels.
The host, Angie, was very easy to work with and answered any questions I had. The rental price was a very good value for the accommodations.
The condo was within walking distance to Great Waters Marina, as well as a pool and a little beach area. The golf course was closed for maintenance, so we didn't see any golfers from our back porch, but it did allow part of our party to walk on the cart path without disturbing any golfers.
We ate lunch at the new Pickled Okra restaurant and it was very good. The fried okra was a hit, but the pickled okra was interesting! We also ate at the Lake Oconee Bistro. I suggest you avoid the pricier entrees and stick with the sandwiches and fried offerings. My chicken marsala was not great with the sauce already congealing when served, mashed potatoes were not hot and the squash was boiled with no flavor; not worth the $22 they had it priced at. However, the young adults at my table enjoyed their choices of fried shrimp, fish tacos and chicken wrap.
We were in town for a friend’s wedding. We all participated in the wedding and had many duties throughout the weekend. This was the perfect place to come back to relax and unwind. It was very well furnished and appointed with everything we needed. The beds were comfortable and the living space was not only comfortable but set up for easy conversation. Wish we had had more time at the house to enjoy it more fully.
The cottage was beautiful and probably the best stocked VRBO I've ever stayed at. Very relaxing and peaceful setting overlooking the golf course and close to dining and activities. Would absolutely stay here again.
Our family really enjoyed sour stay. Th cottage was spacious and our favorite spot was on the back porch. Would highly recommend this unit. Owner was great to interact woth too!
The home was lovely and was perfect for our needs. There were only two problems that we encountered. When we arrived there were very few glasses in the cupboard. The entire top rack of the dishwasher was full of dirty glasses and some had mold growing on the bottom. I ran the dishwasher and they came out fine but not how you want to start your trip! Also we were there for a funeral and had dress clothes that we needed to iron but there was no iron or ironing board to be found. My suggestion would be to have an iron available. Other than those two things it was a very comfortable and clean place to stay and I would rent it again!
This 4 b/r 3 bath cottage worked great for our family with the bed layout and back porch facing the golf course. We had a family reunion in Greensboro and it was just a short drive in to town....also Angie, the owner of the property, was very attentive and cordial with any questions that I had. The price for all the amenities was well worth it and we plan on staying here again anytime we visit Greensboro.
Clean, Well-stocked cottage. Peaceful and relaxing location!

Great home for a getaway trip
We loved renting this property for our getaway weekend. With our busy lives, it has been difficult for all of us to make it to the beach as we have for so many years. Lake Oconee is a close location with so many things to do! The property was perfect with the large den and dining room. The rooms and beds were great. Will definitely try to rent this one again!
