About this property

Basecamp for all of your BV Summer Adventures!

Just a short distance to the Arkansas River, South Main District, coffee shops, restaurants, and cafés, our house is located in a quiet neighborhood on the edge of Buena Vista with a view of the Collegiate Peaks. Featuring three bedrooms, two bathrooms, and a large fenced back yard, this is the perfect vacation destination for your next getaway!

The Space

Away from the downtown noise and traffic, our newly constructed 1,600 sq. ft. home features a fully equipped large kitchen, dining room, living room, three bedrooms, two full bathrooms, and mudroom. It has high speed internet, a "smart" TV with Roku device, and a DVD player for your convenience. The master bedroom has a king bed with an attached master bathroom. The other two bedrooms include a queen and double bed and closets. There is a queen size air mattress that is available upon request. The house has ample on and off-street parking.

Guest Access

You will have access to every room in the house and the private yard. The garage will be locked and unavailable.

Interaction with Guests

You are renting the whole house and will have complete privacy. A local concierge service will manage all aspects of your stay. If you need anything, do not hesitate to contact them.

The Neighborhood

Whether you visit the local hot springs, shop, golf, bike, hike, ATV, Jeep, raft, or enjoy a good cup of coffee- there’s plenty to do in this unique, small mountain town! Located 120 miles southwest of Denver and 90 west of Colorado Springs, it’s the perfect getaway from the hustle and bustle of the cities. Buena Vista has more than 300 days of sunshine a year- so you’ll find the weather quite pleasant and the views even more spectacular.

Wedding weekend retreat

Me and a few friends went to a wedding in Buena Vista and booked this house for the weekend. It was the perfect place for our group to stay! The view of the stars at night from the backyard is unreal and it is so close to town. We would definitely stay here again if we travel back to this area!

Weekend Getaway

Fantastic house in a great location for exploring the BV area. Nice walk to town or easy drive any where you’d want to visit in the area. The eclipse was a nice bonus and seeing the Milky Way from the back yard at night was incredible that close to town.

Perfect spot!

The house was very clean, very functional, had a well stocked kitchen, a lovely backyard and we had a blast! It was also perfectly situated in Buena Vista near the Surf Hotel where we were going to a music festival + not far from Mount Princeton Hot Springs. There is so much to do in the area and this house was great to serve as the launching point for all of the events. The house actually seemed bigger than advertised, which was a nice bonus. Everything was great including communication with the owner.

Buena Vista Basecamp

Nice, clean, spacious house in a quiet neighborhood. Great views of mountains from the house. The beds were quite comfortable and the house was in a convenient location for hiking and reaching the town center. The kitchen was fine and all the amenities were as advertised. My family and I enjoyed staying at there and were very comfortable.

Basecamp Was Perfect

We stayed at Basecamp for our son’s wedding that was at The Barn at Sunset Ranch. This was the perfect location as it was a 5 min. drive. Base Camp is Amazing

Sometimes you stay in a VRBO and it’s obviously a business venture. Base Camp felt like I was borrowing this house from a family friend. House is great in a very quiet neighborhood. House was stocked with everything you could need and more. Our family enjoyed and we will stay at this house next time!

We're Tyson and Cally! We bought our home in Buena Vista in 2015 as we needed a Basecamp for all of our adventures. We spend half the year working in the midwest in agriculture and the other half in BV at Basecamp. We love to travel, ride motorcycles, ski, and enjoy the great outdoors.

Why they chose this property

We knew this was the house for us when we walked into it. It has plenty of space for visitors and is close to town. It's comfortable. We just need a bigger garage :).

What makes this property unique

This is where we live from September to May and I think you'll feel that it's more than just a rental, it's a home that's perfect set up to be a Basecamp for any adventures in the Arkansas Valley.
