Thank you for the great review. We appreciate it. We also enjoyed you keeping the home so clean. Hope to have you stay again.
we stayed with Family and friends, Nice house, it works well for large groups, We brought out SXS and ATV's, I was a little concerned about trailers not allowed in the driveway due to size, Trailer were parked at the office a couple miles away, but the host was very nice and in the end it was no big deal. We would defiantly consider staying there again.
The location was interesting to get to, but everything in the Black Hills is interesting to get to. The house was very roomie and our family had a super time visiting the area. It was somewhat centrally located for everything that we wanted to do.
It’s a great piece of property for a large family. It has five bedrooms with multiple beds in each room from bunkbeds to single queen and king. The Kitchen was well equipped, which is always very important to me as I’m the one cooking there are games to entertain all ages in the management communicated quickly when I had a question.

Thank you for the review and staying with us! Thank you for taking care of the home.
The property was clean & well stocked. It worked great for our weekend riding getaway! About 20min. from town & amenities. The property is a bit dated but did not affect our stay. Thanks
Beautiful watching the deer moving among the trees. The weather was cooler in the mountains. Everyone enjoyed the property with plenty of room for all.
My extended family from various states met for a week in the Black Hills and we enjoyed our stay at Moose Haven. The owners were kind and helpful when we needed them. Loved being in the middle of the woods and the cabin accommodated our large family well. Thanks for being the place where so many wonderful family memories were made.

House is in a great location. We had a great time. The house needs some maintenance. Deck needs attention and few things in the house. But overall, it's a great place.
We came with 5 couples for a week of riding trails with our side x sides. The house worked perfectly with every couple having their own bedroom. Plenty of space to be able to sit around the table at the end of the day for some card games and enough space to be able to spread out if you need some space😉. There are plenty of steps but wasn’t an issue for us. Check in and out was super easy. I would definitely recommend this house. We really enjoyed our week here!

Thank you for staying and writing a review! You were great guests!!
We enjoyed our short stay. Julie was very responsive to any inquiries. This being my first VRBO experience, was not sure what to expect.
The need to have dishes washed and placed back into the cupboard is challenging. A dirty plate was found. Suggest that dishes be washed in dishwasher to be sure are cleaned,(left in dishwasher if necessary) rather than hand wash and put away dirty.

Thank you for staying Sorry about the dish you found. I have personally stayed in homes and have had to do dishes and the laundry. We use to do the dishes but after all the dishes used and people had them stacked up all over the kitchen we just ask that you do the dishes you use.
Thank you though for the input.
Have a great day!
Overall the stay was very nice. The place is a little more dated than what the pictures show. The remotes didn’t have any batteries. The house was close to trails for riding which was a big plus. Some of the information in the listing did not match what we were told. The listing stated there was room for trailers and that we could have 6 vehicles at the house, however we got to keep one truck and 14ft trailer there and two other vehicles. We had to park the other truck and trailer almost 4 miles away from the cabin. Overall the stay was nice and great memories were made. Julie was great for checking in and out.
Loved that there were king size beds in 4 rooms! Perfect for 4 couples! That house is dated- stuck in the 80's - but overall it was fine. The beds weren't great but we slept fine. Great location for riding trails!
The description of this property is quite accurate - there is a lot of space on three different levels for extended family to gather. We liked that everyone could have their own private spaces, yet have adequate living, dining, and outdoor areas to meet and spend time together. There are many amenities, like kitchen dishes, spices, coffee, laundry facilities, sheets and towels, Be aware that the living, dining and kitchen areas are on the second floor, so everyone who is staying here will need to be able to navigate at least a couple flights of stairs. Also, it is so a long, winding, steep, and gravel road to get there, so older or super compact cars may struggle with this. However, the location, once you get on and off the hills it is on, is central to Rapid City proper, Hill City, Custer, and places north like Spearfish.
Communication from the property management company was good, and they were generally accommodating. I recommend this place.

Thank you for the review and we appreciate you staying with us.
This property has lots of sleeping space and is great for large groups. I wish we had more time at the house but we were on vacation touring the area. The drive to the house is beautiful with lots of wildlife to view.
A little dusty on the decorations and the furniture has seen better days.
