Lovely Little House

In this house, we felt as though we were living not in a designed-for-tourists property but a genuine French house, the kind one might rent for a year or longer. The house is very spacious, the kitchen (gas stove! Great!) is complete and well-equipped, even with a small freezer, and a dining table that easily seats six. AND there is a small deck and back yard overlooking meadows and woods, a view that was likely the same 200 years ago. One note for Americans: the house is really 1-1/2 baths, not two full baths. The landlady is very friendly and helpful. She and her husband live just across the courtyard so are readily available to answer questions. If you stay there, do try to eat once at Le Cot Vert, in a nearby village. Fabulous food and a beautiful large deck on the water.

Grande maison au calme

Venus pour les championnats de France kayak , nous avons passé un très bon week-end . La location est très agréable, bien équipée, située au calme, avec une vue magnifique surplombant la campagne. La météo ne nous a pas permis de profiter de la terrasse mais aux beaux jours ce doit être très appréciable. Marion est disponible et l’accueil sympathique.

Kleurrijke en gezellige gîte

We hebben een hele fijne week gehad in deze gezellige gîte. Er is veel ruimte, zowel binnen als buiten en Marion heeft van deze gîte een erg gezellige plek gemaakt. De keuken is goed uitgerust en alles is superschoon. Je wordt verwend met een fantastische blik over het dal. Er is een meertje in de buurt waar je kan zwemmen en er zijn leuke dorpjes en steden die je kan bezoeken (Combourg, waar het lantaarnfeest gehouden werd) en natuurlijk Saint Malo. We hebben genoten! Dank je Marion (ook voor de zelfgemaakte lekkere honing!)

Wir haben uns mit 3 Personen sehr wohl gefühlt! Das Platzangebot war sehr großzügig,es war sauber und alles war vorhanden,was man zum Leben braucht. Die Vermieterin ist supernett und war immer offen für Fragen. Wir haben dort einen schönen Urlaub verbracht,der uns noch lange in Erinnerung bleibt. Ce fut de très bonnes vacances dans cette belle et grande maison! Nous nous sommes sentis très à l'aise avec 3 personnes! L'espace était très généreux, c'était propre et tout y était, ce dont vous avez besoin pour vivre. La propriétaire est super gentille et était toujours ouverte aux questions. Nous y avons passé d'excellentes vacances dont nous nous souviendrons longtemps.

Séjour calme

De beaux volumes et de très beaux extérieurs, malheureusement le temps ne nous a pas permis d’en profiter. Le gîte aurait pu être mieux préparé avant notre arrivée: odeur de renfermé, poussières sur les surfaces, lave vaisselle non vidé et grilles du four sales. Malgré tout, le gîte est agréable. Le village est très calme et possède une épicerie, dépôt de pain. Une belle balade au bord du chenal à 1 km à pieds.

La maison de Marion est accueillante, propre et agréable. La terrasse et le petit jardin sont également très appréciables et des promenades sont possibles à proximité. Marion s'est montrée disponible et réactive à nos demandes. Je recommande !

La maison était très confortable et nous avons aimé la vue sur la vallée. Il y a beaucoup à voir et à faire dans les villes environnantes. Marion était très accueillante.

Vacances au top !

Trois semaines passées dans un environnement idyllique, au calme,loin du bruit de la ville et donc des vacances reposantes. Nos hôtes sont tout à fait charmants et prévenants. La location est très fonctionnelle, tout est prévu. Nous étions deux couples et chacun avait son espace. Il ne manque rien, four, micro ondes, lave vaisselle, lave linge, de quoi passer des vacances cool. Nous avons vadrouillé dans la région, tout est à porté de roue !Merci pour tout, ce fut une découverte de la région très agréable. J 'ai oublié de mentionner une literie au top !

Exceptional Property and Hosts

Our family could not have had a better experience while we stayed in this home. The owners are kind and welcoming, and they have created a house that carefully preserves its fascinating history while adding all the necessary modern conveniences (like the state-of-the-art washing machine, which was a welcome bonus). Even while hanging laundry, we were stunned by the views in every direction; and we were charmed by the details inside and around the cottage. Our hosts also gave us excellent personalized recommendations for cities and sights to take in during our week's stay. Those recommendations were perfect for our family. Additionally, they introduced us to the charm of the Saint-Germain-sur-Ille village centre, which is amazing. Shops and restaurants are located nearby (in town or in the many neighbouring villages), so everything is very handy. Our favourite home feature was the outdoor family cat, who protected us throughout our stay. :) We would return to this property in a heartbeat! Highly recommend.

Perfect holiday home

We had a wonderful week's stay in this brilliant house. The owners live next door and are very friendly and helpful. The house is big and very well equipped, having a sitting room space both upstairs and downstairs is a great bonus. The outside terrace over looking the valley is lovely, along with the garden space. It's very well located and was very easy to drive to Rennes or St Malo, also Mont Saint Michel is fairly close by and lots of other places to visit. We brought our little dog with us who was very welcome at the house. Unfortunately most of the beaches along the nearby coast don't allow dogs in July and August, which makes the beaches lovely and clean if you aren't bringing a dog with you. All in all a wonderful week's holiday and I highly recommend this house.

Notre séjour au Chesne Rondel

Nous avons passé 11 jours dans le gite de Marion TARGWOLA à Saint Germain Sur Ille. L'accueil est très sympathique et la maison confortable, très vaste et très bien équipée. Notre séjour a été très agréable, dans un cadre bucolique et reposant, mais assez proche des services et des voies rapides permettant d'accéder à RENNES et aux autres localités touristiques de l'Ille et Vilaine. Nous recommandons ce gîte pour toutes ces raisons.
