About this property

THE NEST is a serene space located in a quiet country RV park.

WHAT! No additional cleaning fees?

Two miles west of Capitan, Home of Smokey Bear, in the rolling hills of New Mexico ranch lands is Pinon Hills RV Park. We have two Bunkhouses. Bunkhouse #2 is THE NEST. Don't let the word bunkhouse fool you, it's a clean, super nice space that is light and airy while still cozy and inviting. THE NEST is a few minutes from the Smokey Bear Museum, 15 minutes from Historic Lincoln and 20 minutes from Ruidoso. At 6,500 ft elevation, the star gazing is exceptional. If you hear something walking around at night, it's wildlife.

Your Hostess is a 5 star SUPER HOST on another vacation site.

Quaint, off the beaten path and quiet.
More than a hotel room less than a house. Just perfect for visiting family in Capitan. The host was amazing and very knowledgeable. We will stay again!

The Nest - a great place to rest
We spent 3 nights at the Nest in Lincoln County. It was quiet and peaceful! Steve and Carolyn are great hosts, making sure we had everything we needed. If you are looking for a peaceful retreat, a little off the beaten path, yet close enough to sites in the area, this is a good choice!

About the host

Host profile image
I grew up in the big city but now I'm country . . . . . awkwardly country. I have free range chickens who die of old age because I can't stew pot my girls. If you need something, call me, I'm next door. I want your stay to be wonderful.

Why they chose this property

I bought this property to live on 22 years ago while I was building a house. I loved RV people and the space so much, I never built the house.

What makes this property unique

The unique benefit is the price. The other unique benefit is the property will exceed your expectation for the price. The 3rd unique benefit is your hostess is attentive and hysterically irreverent and funny.
