Great location. Newly renovated. Pool and athletic club near the property. Five minute walk to beautiful Poipu Beach. Near to beautiful scenery at Waimea Canyon, Old Koloa Town, Hannepepe and the South Shore of Kauai.

The grounds at Kiahuna Plantation are spectacular. Private condominium with all the amenities of home. Great restaurants including Keoki’s. Paradise, Ruth’s Chris, Merriman’s, Puka Dogs and many others. This is unit #408 in building #40.

Great!

Easy little place for us to rest after our long days of swimming and beach time. The kids slept on the pull out couch and we had the bedroom. I was just a little nervous eating dinner here the few times we did, just because there is carpet in the dining area and the kids can be kids. Could have used a baking sheet and/or some aluminum foil. The beach was a little rough for the little one but we were able to make a few short drives to other beaches no problem. Well equipped with boogie boards and a surf board! Donating our cooler to this house for future renters. :)

A fantastic time!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Kiahuna Plantation. This is a fabulous resort with wonderful amenities. Our place was great, the beach was beautiful, large lanais (decks), great barbecue area, gorgeous surroundings in the tropics. Our only complaint was the pool area at the athletic club. We hoped to relax in the hot tub after hiking the Kalalua trail only to discover that the pool and hot tub area seem to be used almost like a daycare. Kids and babies in the hot tub area with diapers and spilling food everywhere was a turn off for those of us adults who did not have children with us. Definitely more family and children oriented. Not great for couples and older folks unless using the fitness facility. Maholo!

Wonderful bed

The couch and bed were super comfortable. Mark, the owner, was great to work with. He answered your questions promptly. So were two ladies at Castle- Reyne and Novella. They were both so helpful checking in and out. And getting our boarding passes printed. The athletic club pool was our grandson's favorite pool ever. I think the water slide was his favorite. They were also staying at Kiahuna Plantation.

I am a family doctor who saw Kiahuna Plantation in 1984 while attending a medical meeting in the area. I fell in love with the property. The grounds are spectacular with so many varieties of flowers. The hibiscus and azelias are spectacular. There is a world class cactus garden on the edge of the property.

Why they chose this property

There are many beautiful properties in Hawaii. This area is, however, so quiet and restful. There is such a high density of grounds compared to buildings.

What makes this property unique

This is the only beach front condominium complex on the south shore of Kauai. From this unit it is a five minute walk through tropical gardens to the beach. Poipu Beach is considered by many to be among the ten most beautiful beaches in the world with soft white sand.
