Welcome to Sunny Poipu Beach! This charming top floor Kiahuna Plantation condo was freshly remodeled with you in mind! Relax on your private lanai overlooking the garden while being steps to the sand. Surf spots, long walks and lifeguarded beach are at your fingertips. Complete with Air Conditioning, Wifi, a fully stocked kitchen, free parking, 24 hour no hassle check in with key-card, king size bed, full bathroom and oversized lanai with dining table and lounge chairs on the lanai too. The vaulted ceilings make your home away from home seem larger than life!

The Bedroom has a Cal King size bed with all new furniture to ensure a comfortable night's rest. The living room is complete with a queen size sleeper sofa to accommodate 2 extra guests (4 total). In the living room you'll also find a TV with cable TV to relax after a day's adventure. Enjoy cooking in this fully equipped kitchen complete with all of the cooking supplies you can think of!

Poipu Beach Athletic club pass with poolside bar, tennis, water slide and workout room included. Shopping and dining also just next door. It's the perfect location here at Kiahuna Plantation. Expansive, low density development with an old Hawaii vibe. Athletic Club across the street is a bonus. I understand the property is on leased land, which likely influences any interior renovations.

Cozy cottage feel in a perfect location

This is our second time here - the condo is airy and comfortable and the location gives us a great base for excursions all over the island and great beaches and dining within walking distance.

Wonderful location & amenities

Very easy access to multiple beaches, walking distance. Loved the area. We also loved access to the athletic center, having a kiddo with us was huge to have such an amazing pool. We would definitely come back. Very clean and nice apartment.

Perfect location.

This is a beautiful, quiet property in spotless condition, and we loved it. The beach and local restaurants were all very close and easy to access. We would gladly stay here again. I was I'd suggest the pool area for families rather than couples, as it was full of young children having fun, and didn't have a quiet area for adults. They were out of towels and the food service was very understaffed.

Great stay!

This is our second time staying at Kiahuna Plantation so we knew what to expect. Everything was in order and host was extremely responsive. The check-in instructions ended up in my junk folder so be wary and don't just show up at the Castle check-in like we did. The condo and amenities were all sufficient, just wish there were a bit more pantry items which would've been useful for cooking (like cooking oil, plastic wrap, seasonings, etc). Thanks for the enjoyable stay!

Ideal location - Clean, safe property

We enjoyed this rental - it fit our needs perfectly in terms of location, safety, cleanliness, comfort, and utility (kitchen). The resort pool - at the Kauai Athletic Club - was nice for our child, who liked the waterslide. The only drawback was that it was closed after 7 pm....but we were so close to Poipu Beach - the natural wonder that is Poipu Beach more-than-100x-times made up for that very minor item.

Great Location

The location is walking distance to a great beginner surfing beach, snorkeling, and boogie boarding. Management was VERY responsive to all questions. You can hear others who are out on the balcony or lawn (which was to be expected.) The bathroom was run down (cracked veneer in door, cracking grout) and could use an update.

Beautiful Appartment 5 Minutes to the Beach

We enjoyed our stay thoroughly. The check in and check out process was very easy and communication was swift. We realized too late that the property has no AC but it was not a problem. It's very cool and comfortable at night and we slept very well. It's lovely to hear the leaves rustling and the rain falling. The kitchen has everything you need. The best part is it is 5 minutes walk to Waiohai and Poipu Beach. It was awesome to just walk to a great beach with beach side bar and restaurant. I highly recommend this place. Mahalo!

We enjoyed our stay in this condo. It was clean and well maintained. The only thing is, we didn't know that the room was located at the 3rd flr and it would probably better for us to stay at the first flr due to having a toddler and my mom in her 60s that has knee problem. Also, there's no air conditioning. We went during winter months so it was cool during the night as long as the windows are open since afternoon. Otherwise, having the access to athletic club is a plus especially if you are feeling lazy to get sand from the beach. We get to access the pool there with slide. My 2.5y/o enjoyed it.

A nice place to stay in Kauai

We stayed for 9 nights in this unit. There is no A/C, but with the ocean breeze and the overhead fans, it was not too bad. There were a few times in the afternoon, when I felt a bit warm. But a dip in the ocean or the nearby pool made it easy to cool down. The location is pretty good. It is at the back of the property, so there's a 5-7 minute walk to the beach, but being close to the road, you can walk to the club which has a pool, a nearby coffee shop, or event the small shopping center about 10 minutes away. The unit's kitchen was very useful. We cooked our own food a few nights, and used the dishwasher multiple times. We'd be happy to visit again. Next time we may try to get a unit that is a little closer to the beach.

Not a nice apartment

This place felt like a college dorm. There was moldy, degrading grout in the shower and the window screens were beat up. For check in, we had to try and coordinate an actual meet up with the host, which was really challenging while we were trying to just enjoy our vacation (we were on the north side of the island before coming down to Poipu). There were moths and a lizard found in our place despite keeping screens closed at all times. I would not recommend this location if you plan to spend time relaxing at it. However, it is conveniently located from the beach so if you don't plan to spend a lot of time at your home this could do the job.

Dear future guest, this top floor condo is a budget friendly rental at Kiahuna Plantation. We price it accordingly since its not fully upgraded and has no AC. If you are looking for a more luxurious stay, there are options for a higher price. This unit has hard floors, no carpet, high ceilings and no guests above you to make noise. The kitchen is fully stocked and the unit is very clean. We will take a look at the caulking in the tub and the screens. Since we are a tropical island, the geckos are quite normal. They actually keep mosquitoes, moths and spiders at bay. Consider them your friendly, live in pest control. We reached out to the guest the day after check in and then again the day prior to check out and never received any response or heard any complaints from him. We reach out to our guests so that we can fix any issues swiftly. The photos are very representative of the state of the unit. We hope you’ll give this cute spot a chance!

This condo worked very well for our family of 4. Everything was clean and tidy when we arrived. Guidance was clear and helpful. We called the management company on a few occasions just for local information and they were responsive and helpful.

Everything you need

We have stayed at Kiahuna Plantation multiple times and find it good value for the money in Poipu. I always appreciate the lush plants and gardening on the spacious grounds, local beach, rentals cabana, and short walk to amenities in 2 local malls. This condo was as advertised with everything clean and in working order, and it was nice to have some basic beach amenities like chairs and boogieboards available with the unit.
