Battlefield tour

Ideal location for battlefield touring, close to Vimy Ridge and Arras and within easy distance of Ypres and the Somme. Spacious accommodation to sit down together of an evening and discuss the days visits to the battlefields.

Wonderland retreat

The pictures don’t share the whole view of this beautifully landscaped and beautiful place of retreat, fun, and laughter. The host, Delphine, is the best— the accommodations were very very good. A wonderful neighborhood with fresh baggettes close by every morning. We can’t wait to return!!

Gite tres spacieux et fonctionnel

Gite situé dans un beau parc, à 15mn du centre d'Arras. Propre et bien équipé, quelques aménagements differents auraient pu rendre cette maison encore plus agréable comme une meilleure conception de la cuisine ou des douches plus grandes que les simples cabines dans certaines chambres

Het huis is gelegen op een mooi stuk land en voorzien van een groot grasveld met tafeltennistafel. Het ligt redelijk achteraf waardoor het is toegestaan een feest te geven. De woning is schoon en van alle gemakken voorzien!

We have everything we need in the House. Delphine was very friendly and gave to us all information we need. Also Sabine help me a lot. Overall,everything was clean and organised when we got there. I would stay in this house again for sure.

Nous avons passé un week end tout à fait excellent dans le gite Bernière. Les informations données par Mme Souillard avant le séjour et lors de notre arrivée ont été parfaites. Quelques petites améliorations peuvent être réalisées à l'intérieur que j'ai notées sur la fiche remise à Mme Souillard. Mais ces remarques ne viennent en aucun cas changer notre avis qui est très largement positif.

Le gite est grand, agréable et très bien équipé, parfait pour accueillir un groupe. L' endroit est très calme et nous avons apprécié la vue du jardin en ouvrant les rideaux le matin. Nous avons été très bien accueillies et y avons passé une très belle soirée.

Gite extrêmement bien équipé, endroit calme, idéal quand on est nombreux et qu'on veut faire la fête ! Le beau temps étant au rdv pour nous, repas pris dehors, barbecue et plancha ont été très appréciés. Seuls points négatifs : pas de volets/stores aux fenêtres et les rideaux ne sont pas occultant, et si il fait chaud, comme lors de notre week-end, les chambres à l'étage, et notamment celles avec velux, montent très vite en température.

Rien à redire à l'agencement des pièces, la décoration, la clarté, l'environnement proche.De plus, le village de Souchez est lui-même vivant et proche de nombreux sites liés à la guerre 14/18 ainsi que de sites culturels (Le Louvre-Lens, Arras). Et, bien sûr, les gens du Nord sont accueillants!
