3 Bedroom Cabin With Full Bathroom And Full Kitchen
Our unique bed and breakfast is a rental cabin that can sleep 7 comfortably. Even with its amazing location in the city, it still has the country view and feel. Enjoy complete privacy of your own cabin, while only being 1/2 mile from the main highway. It includes a full bathroom, full kitchen, Keurig coffee machine, 5 beds, deck/patio, cable TV, Smart TV, and free wifi. It is close to the Bridges of Madison County, and several wineries. If you wish to just come and get away for the weekend, the large deck and fire ring are yours to use while you visit. Breakfast foods are provided, so if you want to sleep in, you can fix breakfast when you're ready.

The Corn Crib is a very cute Cabin! We stayed for a late night overnight before moving our daughter into Drake University. Everything was as listed. They even left us eggs, English muffins, and milk in the fridge for a breakfast treat! There was a fully stocked Keurig for our morning coffees too. We will definitely be keeping this one on our list for when we visit Des Moines!!

The Corn Crib is a very cute place in Indianola. It worked just perfect for the 4 of us (plus the dog) to have a place to land during our annual vacation together. Barb was excellent. She was very quick to answer any texts that I sent. I would recommend the corn crib!

Our second year at the Corn Crib and it was equally enjoyable this year. Our host Barb provided check in details well in advance (and even offered early check in as she hadn't had a guest in the property the night before.) The unit is just as it's pictured and spotlessly clean, including eggs, milk, cereal, and English muffins for breakfast was a plus. The small kitchen is nicely equipped. Barb responded to messages within minutes and even dropped by with some garden-fresh tomatoes while we were there.The property is not available for us for 2027 as it's already booked, so a word to the wise -- especially during the Des Moines Metro Opera season -- BOOK EARLY!
