Needs TLC

This is a very cool retro property. Since the airport is nearby the surrounding neighborhood is a bit sketchy. The airplanes fly right over the house all day. There were roaches all around the property (inside and out) and various yard work tools and trash in the yard. The property has a strange smell and needs a good cleaning. There are cameras on the outside of the property so you feel like you are always being watched. The creepy pool maintenance guy was onsite for about an hour and the pool was still cloudy. The hot tub was running low on water and started to make a loud noise, I filled the hot tub to make it stop. I have stayed at quite a few VRBO properties in the recent months. Most have some amenities like soap and shampoo. There was nothing available at this property, which I found out late in the evening when the stores were closed. This place has a ton of potential to be a 5 star stay but needs TLC. and a good cleaning.

Nice Getaway

Firstly the pool was perfect! We were there in June so the weather was very hot while we were there but there was no shortage of shade due to the big trees around to shade the yard and of course the pool was lovely for cooling off! The bed was comfy and we slept well. The house is large and was very neat and clean. The location is perfect and we felt absolutely safe. I also love that we were allowed to take our small dogs. The yard is fully fenced but if you have small dogs like us you should keep them on a leash as they could still get put through the fence openings. Sarah was a wonderful host! She kept good communication and replied immediately when we contacted her. I had a chat with her by phone and she was super friendly and down to earth! This house was HUGE for just two people so when we return (and we will!) we will bring a couple of friends or other family members! We enjoyed our stay!

The property was huge and had a lot of amenities. The highlight for me was the master bedroom, master shower, and the HOT TUB!!! Not far from downtown (riverwalk) at all.
