The ocean views from this top-floor property are AMAZING!! This Carolina Beach Vacation rental is a few short blocks from the Carolina Beach Boardwalk, you can even sit and watch the Thursday Night Summer fireworks display from the comforts of your oceanfront deck.

This house should not be available for rent. It is a crap hole. Ruined our whole beach trip.

Paid over six thousand dollars of my for my grandparents to stay in the lower level and us up top. The stairs are rotten on the porch and broke almost injuring a child. The floors in the lower level are so rotten it’s like walking in a fun house going up and down hills. My grandmother could barely move in this house without risk of falling. The house was musty because it is obviously very water damaged. It smelled, it was hot, it was dangerous, and it did not have a real ocean view. You can see the lifeguard stand from one bedroom upstairs. Overall I would say we wasted our money. My mother bought a 300 dollar window ac unit just so we wouldn’t die in the July heat in this rotting home. Still very upset at the price we paid. I sincerely hope NO ONE else stays here and is as disappointed as we were. If you are looking for a legit overpriced crap shack on the beach with bugs, water damage, no view and dangerous flooring, this is your place!

Non rentable house combine with a worst management company

I do not understand how Vrbo is renting this property as a vacation house. This quality of the house and the maintenance company “Carolina Beach Realty” are the worst we ever encounter. Following are some of the problems among a long list of problems; 1. We had issue of unlocking the doors. Old locks are there and there is no clear direction which door we need to open first. We called the maintenance company “Carolina Beach Realty” at 5:15pm and their office was closed at 5:00pm. It took us about 45 min to figure out which door we need to go and how to open. 2. After we entered the house there was no toilet paper in the house. In their documentation they said they will have one toilet paper in each bathroom. I called the office and left a massage around 6:00pm and I received a text next day, saying that we are sorry about this. No action was taken after that. 3. The house was not cleaned properly. We found dirty towels and unwashed dishes. 4. Kitchen: There are very old and dirty minimum number of pots, pans, and utensils. We end up buying all the foods from outsifer. 5. The house is so old and not maintained at all. You need to be very careful talking the stairs. It make sounds when you walk inside the house. 6. The house is really dirty and most probably has mold. Sofas in both floors are so dirty that you need to think twice before you sit. 7. There are no locks in any of the bathroom doors. And the bathrooms are so tiny with broken floors with insufficient lights. There is not enough lights in the whole house. 8. The beds in the house is the worst we ever slept, if you move it make big sounds. The drawers in the bedrooms are unusable because it is so old and dirty. Please do not rent this house and I will request Vrbo not to list this house and do a detail review of the maintenance company “Carolina Beach Realty”. They failed to maintain a bare minimum standard regarding the hose. They do not have any service after 5:00pm -- As a vacation rental management company it is unaccepted.
