The apartment consists of 1 bedroom, a warm living room with a comfortable sofa bed and TV (give a size, every tv is flatscreen now) a fully equipped kitchen with a dishwasher and a coffee machine, and a bathroom with a bath or shower with free toiletries.

A refined, modern apartment in the perfect location in Reykjavik. Inga is a superb host, and is responsive, professional, and considerate. The apartment is within minutes of excellent food, shopping, tours, several city and tour bus stops. We had a faboulous stay here, and hope this property is available for our next trip to Iceland!!

Beautiful property! There is no on-site parking, but we were able to unload our items and use the elevator to the apartment. Parking is on the street where you can find it. Very clean property with beautiful view of the harbour. Close to everything. Loved you were within walking distance to everything. Would stay here again if we are ever in Iceland.

It was a wonderful apartment in Reykjavik. The location was great, extremely clean and well stocked, it had a beautiful view, and Inga was so helpful with any questions we had.

The property was perfect for a family of four with adult aged kids. We were within walking distance to most everything we wanted to do. The view was beautiful and the deck was especially nice to look at the harbor and see the city too. It was convenient to have a kitchen and the sleeping accommodations were comfortable.

Charming, scenic, well equipped, and well located. However a little loud if you have people sleeping on the pull out in the living room. People were working on ships in the boatyard across the street until 10PM and then the street traffic starts up early in the morning. Also, was told the Flybus airport shuttle drops off across the street, but in actuality it was 2 blocks away. Not a big deal, but just FYI.

Amazing location

Loved our view out to the harbor. So many amazing restaurants nearby! Inga was a pleasure - super responsive and helpful when we asked for parking advice. Beds were super comfy - we used the pull out too and it was like sleeping on a cloud. Would definitely recommend staying here!

Fabulous location and very comfortable

The apartment is just as they describe. There’s a nice view of the old harbor and the burger place, literally across the street, is very good and reasonably priced for Iceland. The apartment is in a less touristy part of Reykjavik, so you don’t step out your door into throngs of people. The center of the city is about a 10 minute walk, and you are in the throngs about 5 minutes after that. Supermarkets are about a 15 minutes walk to the end of the old harbor. Nice place. No complaints.

Great Base in Reykjavik

The positive reviews are true, this is a great condo in a great location. Clean, spacious, and convenient to restaurants and shopping. If you never left the city you'd have access to everything you need. If you rent a car and explore this is a great place to come home to each night. Parking is tight but not terrible, and we only ever needed to park a few blocks away at most. We loved the hot springs feel of the geothermal water in the shower, and the patio is great, both for the views and for safely trying hakarl!

nice place on old harbor front

very nice apt, had everything we needed. finding free on street parking close by was a challenge, could not tell where the zones started and stopped, parked for free in dirt lot by museum, so it all worked out fine ( 5 min walk)

Lovely Stay

We had a lovely stay!!! Place was very well equipped with all necessities, clean and organized. Location was fantastic, within walking distance to some amazing restaurants and bars, and of course center city! Inga was great at communication whenever we had a questions and was very friendly and helpful. Highly recommend and would we plan on choosing again for next trip to Iceland.

Great location

This apartment provides an easy walk to many areas of interest. Great restaurants within a very short distance. The view of the harbour is interesting. Easy access via either stairs or elevator. Host is very communicative and quickly answered ally questions. We had no problems!

Maybe next time

We were looking forward to staying at this property so much. The owner, Inga, was easy to communicate with and easily accessible. Unfortunately, our flight had mechanical issues and we only got a layover in Iceland vs a couple day stay. I would definitely look at this property in the future. It was a bummer to lose the payment, wish it could be used in the future.

Excellent stay!

We stayed at this property from August 11-15 and enjoyed it immensely. The location and view are unique and we really made use of local bakeries and restaurants. The owner Inga and her on-site designee were communicative and helpful both in advance and during our stay. This was especially important when we could not figure out how to use the clothes washer the night before we were to vacate. Some written instructions would have prevented the need to call them for help. TV instructions would also be useful. These are minor points, however, and we'd highly recommend this apartment.

Awesome location-safe and central

We made a mistake with our booking because of the time changes so discovered that we were actually arriving a day early. Our host responded immediately and once she ensured that it was not already booked, she added a day and allowed us to add and go ahead and check in. Because this nice unit is on a busy street (during peak traffic times only- not all night and thankfully so many vehicles are electric now) you should keep this in mind. It had everything we needed and we wouldn't hesitate to stay here again, excellent!

Ideal

This was my very first time using a vrbo property and if all of them are as good as this I will be a lifelong customer. My fourth time in Reykjvik and my friend's first. I wanted a view of the sea or the harbour and a central location as my chief reason for being in Reykjavik is daily boat trips to see ocean wildlife. Everything about this apartment is 10 out of 10. It is two blocks from Bus Stop 15, making it ideal for the airport bus. The neighbourhood is full of great places to eat and drink, general landmarks and meeting places. Plus there are three supermarkets within 12 minute walk, one of which is open until midnight. The apartment itself is comfortable, spacious, clean, quiet and perfectly furnished with everything seemingly brand new and in working order, and extra bedlinens readily available. I'm ready to book again for next year if not move in. Thanks to the host for friendly comms and being so accomodating.
