We really enjoyed our stay. The cottage is in a great location and the neighborhood was friendly. The bike / hike train is just a short walk and Dawes arboretum and Black hand gorge are also close by. Kayaking on the lake was fun.

Nice Cottage
We very much enjoyed our stay at this cottage. The house was stocked and we received some snacks, wine, and a card to welcome us there. Would recommend this property. If I had any complaint, the shower water pressure could be better, but that's hardly a complaint.

Hope to host you again soon, Michele
We would definitely stay here again! Everything you need, cozy and comfortable. Everything you need in a home away from home and a thank you card and a bottle of wine to greet you! We were here in off season for a celebration of life so a lot of things were closed but would be a great summer spot to vacation and relax! Great hostess!
Dvd player didn't work. Thought too late to call after 9:30 Fri. nite, so waited til 9:30 Sat. am. Left message on phone number listed. Never did get a call back. Sent msg on vrbo listing and did see she replied, but by messaging. As I don't use my phone like a millenial, it never occured to me to check my app. When she did reply, she only could ask if we had made sure it was plugged in! We just didn't feel that she responded properly to our request. Also, there were cobwebs on the chandelier above the table that need to be cleaned. The lid for the coffee maker was finally found in a drawer after the coffee maker spewed water all over the counter and. wasted the coffee we had put in it!
The location and property was perfect for our stay.

Adorable and very comfortable space!
Staying at Michele's home in Buckeye Lake was a treat. The home itself is a great little place with lots of charm. There's even a backyard. It's also within walking distance of stores and restaurants- very accessible! Loved our stay there!

Family weekend at National Trail Raceway
Our family enjoyed our stay in this cottage over a long weekend for an event at nearby National Trail Raceway. The cottage was clean, neat and was exactly as described in the listing. Michele was very friendly and helpful with our needs. The kitchen and dining areas were awesome and the kitchen was well stocked. The beds were comfortable and the living room sofa was very comfy for watching movies. There was a nice supply of DVDs which we watched nightly. The only thing that keeps this from being 5 stars is the water pressure/well water in the shower but other than that, it was a great place and we'd stay there again.

Chris Howard - Buckeye Lake Cottage July (one week) stay:
The cottage (4 bed/1 bath w garage) is very nice, decorated very cute: The only down sides of our stay were - the well water isn't fun to smell or shower with, the water pressure of the shower is low and currently the Buckeye Lake boardwalk is not useable.
Everything else was excellent.

Exactly what we were looking for!
This place was adorable, and well-stocked with everything my party and I needed for our stay. There was even a sweet little card and gift of cookies on the counter for us when we arrived! The place was clean, comfortable, and easy to find - we loved the privacy and access to nearly everything we would have had at home. I would certainly stay here again!

About the host
Hosted by Michele Lyons
Jeff is from Granville, Ohio and Michele was born and raised in Lancaster, Ohio, both cities less than 30 minutes from Buckeye Lake. The couple now resides in Lancaster, Ohio and enjoys hosting 2 vacation rentals, one in Ohio and the other in Cape Coral Florida.
Why they chose this property
Jeff's father frequently brought him to the lake as a child and now we all enjoy it's beauty and fun. We have been members at the Buckeye Lake Yacht Club for years and purchased this cottage to better enjoy times on the water, at the pool and mostly to be with friends. We hope you are able to share in the fun we enjoy at our cottage.
What makes this property unique
Across from the Buckeye Lake Museum, cozy and comfortable cottage, quick 1 minute walk to lake's walking path, many bars and restaurants within walking distance, only 30 minutes to downtown Columbus, Ohio
