CONVENIENT LOCATION. QUIET RESORT. FRIENDLY STAFF. CUTE CABIN.
For those looking to ride ATV/UTV's this is the perfect centrally located position. Located right off the trail, has plenty of parking for truck and trailer. Gas/Food/Wood/Etc less than a mile down the road. Trails around the area are sandy, if you go further south-Danbury/Cabin area- they get to be more muddy. We had 4 people (2 couples) staying in Cabin 2, perfect size! Cabin was fully stocked with necessities (ie. silverware, sheets, towels, etc). The second bedroom has a power outlet that doesn't work. Wall air condition unit worked great. The shower had a double shower head- huge win! Cute deck off the back (has a grill) with a firepit in the front. We stayed over Memorial Day weekend so the bar was open later than usual (midnight or so), bartenders were always helpful and fun! There is a dock and small place to swim on Cranberry Lake behind the bar/grill, perfect spot to dive in after a day of riding. The pool wasn't ready yet for the season due to cold weather recently, but looked like a perfect spot in the summer. Dumpsters are right next to the cabin which is convenient for clean up! (Didn't notice a smell). Bear poop in our lawn- making it seem like a true outdoorsy getaway.
We would definitely recommend Schatzi's 4 Seasons Resort/The Golden Chipmunk and we will be back!
