Good Vibrations: A quiet Rhode Island getaway, between Providence & Newport

Welcome to Good Vibrations! At our cozy guest house in North Kingstown, you have the luxury of having a quiet, neighborhood experience, just a short drive from Providence, Newport, Westerly and even Boston.

The guest house is a separate building from our main house, but right next door. Enter into the first floor, which houses a large master bedroom with high ceilings, a king-size bed and convertible futon (full-size). A pack n' play is available for infants. There are black out blinds and curtains throughout the downstairs and upstairs. There is an en-suite bathroom with a standup shower. An electric fireplace adds to the cozy ambiance. Just off of the downstairs hallway, you will notice a private porch with outdoor chairs for your enjoyment. In the summer months, we store beach equipment in the closet in the downstairs hallway for use during your stay.

The second floor is just up a flight of stairs and has 2 sofas that can be made into twin-size beds. There are room darkening shades throughout the upstairs. We offer a TV with a Roku & DVD player as well as DVD's available for your entertainment. The 2nd bathroom with a standup shower is located directly off the living area. A kitchen with basic amenities is tucked away upstairs. It houses a toaster, oven with stove top, refrigerator, electric kettle, and microwave. There is also a coffee bar for your enjoyment. A washer/dryer combination unit is tucked away behind the kitchen to make our guests stay even more like home. The temperature for the upstairs & downstairs (both heat & AC) are controlled by a units on the wall.

A pack n' play, high chair, children's toys and books are available for guest's use while at our guest house.

There are 2 tandem parking spots offered in front of the guest house, marked by a “guest parking” sign. Additional guests will be required to park on the street in front of our main house.

We are a 5 minute drive to East Greenwich and Goddard Park. 10 minutes to Wickford and Wickford Junction Railway Station (commuter train to Boston). 25 minutes north to Providence , 25 minutes south to Newport and 20 minutes to Narragansett. 20 minutes to T.F. Green Airport. 50 minutes to Westerly & the southern RI beaches. Closest beach in Goddard Park is only a 5 minute drive! 1 hour 15min drive to Boston and 3 hours drive to New York City.

We are more than happy to accommodate long-term rentals. We offer a significant discount for more than a months stay.

The host requires you to complete the following before checking out:
Load and start the dishwasher
Remove personal items, remove leftover food and drinks and take out the rubbish
Turn off the lights, lock the doors and return the keys
Please return the house keys to the lockbox.
Please return the garage door opener to the kitchen where you found it.
Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.
There is no access to the backyard, pool or tennis court.
There are no social gatherings or parties allowed.
Please respect our privacy and our neighbor's privacy. This is a QUIET family-friendly neighborhood.

Perfect guest house in a perfect neighborhood! Everything was exactly as listed. Quiet, peaceful, and great for a walk in the morning or evening. We saw several deer while we were there. Convenient to airport and highways for getting around. From here we did day trips to Newport, Providence, Boston, Salem and Martha’s Vineyard.

My mom and aunt stayed at Good vibrations and said it was the cleanest rental they have ever booked. The design and flow of the property was great - my mom slept in the king sized bed on the first floor and my aunt (who loves to stay up late watching TV) had the entire second floor to herself, including a kitchen and bathroom. We will definitely book this property next time family comes to town.

I had a fantastic experience staying at Michi and Brian’s place. The location was excellent, and everything about the stay was simply great. Very nice accommodations! Enjoyed several aspects of this place. Decor was very tasteful. Bed and futon were comfy. Located in a nice quiet neighborhood. My fiancé and I brought our 10 month old to RI to visit some family. The house was easy to find, and centrally located to all the places we wanted to go. It was very clean and had everything we needed for our baby(pack and play, high chair, etc), very convenient! Great Spot for our Girls Trip

Everything was just as we imagined it to be on this property. We take a fall girls trip each year, three friends from high school. The location was perfect, we spent two days exploring Newport, and two days in Providence. We also liked the Wickford area nearby. The house was perfect for our needs, including our nightly card games. The owners were quick to respond to our needs.
