Patio's are at both back and front of this property and it also features an outdoor patio by a natural spring fed pond. The backyard of the property adjoins the Adams Bird Sanctuary. Situated near Okanagan lake, just a 5 minute walk to the lake, boat launch, beach, doggie beach and water park. Lots of beautiful Birds constantly flying and feeding in your own backyard. The huge back deck and Home has some antique and mid-century pieces. A decorative bird theme and information on wildlife in the Bird Sanctuary is throughout the house. This home also features a suite with private entry and parking space available to rent for larger groups, please inquire about availability if you are looking to book for more guests.
This property is situated in a very popular area of Summerland; because of it's proximity to the lake and is suitable for 6 guests. Through the months of November 2024 - March 2025 discounts are being offered, tenants staying on a 28 day period or more are responsible for clearing any snow from walkways and the driveway, shovels provided by owner. Monthly tenants will be provided with toiletries and the like upon arrival however will be responsible for replenishing items as required such as; toilet tissue, kleenex, soaps, shampoo's, conditioners, paper towels, kitchen dish soap, dishwasher soap, etc.

I'm Len and my wife is Heather. Heather retired after 36 years of employment and has resided in the area of this property all of her life. I've been in the Okanagan 38 years and was a Professional Chef for 28 years, I retired from cooking in 2002 and then operated the Weedman LawnCare Franchise in Kelowna until 2010. Since then, I've worked for an Okanagan wine tour company, a job I loved, meeting new people every day and I'm currently driving for the Okanagan Hockey School. Heather and I love and have Traveled extensively; mostly Europe, Southeast Asia and Australia. Heather's interests include antiques, sewing and attending the Summerland market (June thru September) and the Penticton market (April thru October) where she sells Infiniti Scarves and other handmade items . I am a golfer and enjoy swimming and riding Mountain and Road Bikes in the Area .

Your backyard is basically a BIRD SANCTUARY, that pretty well says it all . We reno'd the property in 2018, with an indoor emphasis on Birds and Butterflies; we are members of the Meadowlark society . The property has a private setting and is close to all amenities in Summerland. Its 5 minutes to the Beach and right across the street from the Summerland campground, it is 15 minutes from Penticton and 5 minutes from Summerland town center and close to some of the best wineries in the Okanagan .
