Fabulous home and location
We stay here each year to visit our daughter at the US For Force Academy. Each year the stay is better. Communication with Rachel is wonderful. No issues in home at all. Would recommend this place and location to anyone. Great for family reunions and touring the area. Makes you want to move here!

Great home
Great home. Clean. Very private. Everything we needed. Close to shopping and restaurants but not too close. Nice little lake 5 minute walk if you like to fish for small trout. Great owners. Loved the chickens and fresh eggs. Would definitely stay here again.

Fantastic! Love the surrounding area and amenities in the home.
This home is welcoming to any family! Easy access to interstate. Far enough away from traffic so you can sleep and enjoy seclusion. Outside deck views and hikes are amazing. Kitchen and large family table are awesome for family cooking and eating. No need to eat out!! Would come back without a doubt! Highly recommended!!

Serene and Beautiful
Big and beautiful property with a country, relaxing feel. The house was beautiful and very comfortable. The back porch is where anyone should go to relax and breathe. It’s stunning views and breeze cleared my head of any worry. I highly recommend this place to stay when visiting the beauty that is Colorado. It’s the true Colorado experience! From the home is a straight shot to a beautiful mountain you can hike or drive on. Everything about this stay was relaxing.

About the host

My husband and I live in Colorado with our two children. We were both born and raised in Southern California, but moved to Colorado shortly after we were married. We have been here for almost 11 years and love it as much today as when we first moved. Coming from the hustle and bustle of Southern California, we wanted space, and nature, and quiet... but not too much space, and not too quiet ;-) . We found our perfect match with the tri-lakes area just North of Colorado Springs.

Why they chose this property

Coming from the tight space of California, we always dreamed of "wide open spaces." When this property came on the market in 2015, things fell into place like it was meant to be. Before moving in we completely updated and remodeled everything, making it our own mountain farmhouse paradise. We love having a small homestead with chickens, dogs, cats and a garden in the Summer. We want to start traveling more with our family, so are now opening up our lovely home to you! We think you'll love it as much as we do.
