Spacious and Tranquil Montauk Home with Lots of Privacy!

Have the summer of your life in this spacious 4BR, 2.5 bath home, with sound views and plenty of privacy. It comes complete with two living rooms, a fireplace, washer/dryer, AC, internet/wifi, large outside deck with garden furniture, and an outdoor shower. Walk just a few blocks to some of Montauk's best attractions, stores, and restaurants. Sunset beach and the newly re-opened Culloden Point beach are a short walk away.
Because of Montauk's new rental rules, the house is available for a minimum of 2 weeks. We are allowed two shorter term rentals per season, so please reach out to us if your'e interested.

Great space, great location

We rented this house the week after Labor Day we were 4 couples and besides the weather had a great time. The place was clean, spacious and dealing with Steve was a pleasure. He was an amazing host and we look forward to staying there again in the future.

Homey and cozy

Absolutely great experience. Have rented many houses in MTK and this was great. The set up of the house was great with the bedroom locations and the loft/hang out space upstairs. The deck is a nice size and the yard decent enough to play games with the family. Corner lot but wouldn’t know it since it’s surrounded by trees. Makes it feel like you’re tucked away in a relaxing space. Overall, great stay. Would def stay again!

Wonderful beach home in a quiet neighborhood

My family and I had a wonderful stay in Steven's home. The house, just one block from the LI Sound, was spacious enough for 6 adults and 2 young children, as well as a few dogs! The view of the Sound from the upstairs living room was beautiful, as were the sunsets. The neighborhood was quiet and peaceful, with many people strolling, jogging, and walking dogs. The walk from the house to the Montauk marina (Gosman's, Salivar's, etc.) is about a mile, with beautiful views of the Sound along the way. It's just a few mile drive into town and the ocean beaches, as well as all of the downtown Montauk restaurants and shops. It was a very relaxing vacation and I hope to have another one at this home next summer.

Relaxing

I rented for the last two weeks of May so the weather changeable which was to be expected. Nice neighborhood. Quiet and even more quiet due to COVID but enough food places open to make it convenient. Good space. Everything in the kitchen worked well (including the washer and dryer) and pots/pans/cutlery was well stocked. The primary living area is upstairs which I don't think was detailed in the description and was a factor for me because my sister who visited is disabled. Th e owner is great and checked in regularly to see that everything was alright. bedroom furniture a little dated. Gem of the house on a rainy day or cold evening is the upstairs den which is comfortable and has water views.

Excellent Family Vacation Home

The house is in an excellent location for enjoying all Montauk has to offer. It’s basically a three minute walk to a private bay beach, which is perfect for our young children ages three and seven. It’s also an eight minute drive to the ditch plains surfing beach, which is perfect for older surfing kids. We are a family of six, two adults and four kids And there were plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms for everyone. The privacy of the upstairs space is also very nice for watching TV and hanging out with the adults while the kids go to sleep downstairs. There was plenty of pots pans dishes cups etc for cooking and eating at home. The Weber has grill is great for BBQ’s and eating at the outside picnic table with Umbrella. The owner Steve checked in several times and was very attentive to all of our needs. He was very easy to work with and made our stay even more pleasurable. I highly recommend this house for young families or even a group of young couples for a multi week vacation to take advantage of all of Montauk.

A wonderful Montauk retreat!

I have traveled to Montauk annually for the last 5 summers. Usually about 10 days time but always have to plan last minute so I have stayed in various places. This is definitely a "must come back" rental! Great setup, super clean, convenient location, and Steven was very accommodating and helpful. I came with a friend, two kids and two dogs. Another mom and two kids came for a night. The upstairs is like a whole suite with TV, living room area, plus bedroom and bathroom so we were able to give all the kids the upstairs to enjoy and it worked great. Downstairs there is one bedroom with two small beds, a little cozy for adults but good when we started out with just the two kids. There is another nice sized bedroom and finally a bedroom with its own bathroom/shower. Worked great for all the many families being represented. Loved the deck space as we were able to bring some gates to let the (small) dogs hang out. Kids brought bikes and since we were on the end of a long road they could ride bikes around easily. Convenience to Gosman's was definitely a plus as we ate and hung out there often. In the past I have always rented in Hither Hills and wasn't sure how this location would compare. We did have to get in the car to travel to the beaches but other than that this was as close to "perfect" as possible.

Perfect end-of-summer stay!

This adorable house is in the perfect tucked-away neighborhood. Less than a 5 minute walk to the beach and less than a mile to Gosman’s and all needed groceries and amenities. The house was well-stocked with cooking supplies as well as beach gear (chairs, towels, bike, etc). Steve was the perfect host, very responsive, friendly, and helpful in answering all of our questions. We would recommend this place to anyone!

Wonderful week in Montauk

Had a glorious week with my children and grandchildren. the location of this house is perfect, close to the beach and fishing and great restaurants. A 5 minute ride takes you to the center of town with more restaurants and shopping. All 10 of us plus 2 pups voted everything was great.

Great beach cottage - close to everything - lots of room cozy

Our family had a wonderful time staying in Culloden Shores in this cute home. Plenty of room for all and it was convenient to everything. The outdoor shower was a plus after the beach and the house had everything you could need.
