No cleaning fees for 4+ night rentals. Linens, Towels, Laundry and paper products are included. You won’t need to start your trip at the grocery store buying the basics. No need to rent bikes either. We got 'em. Low country boil night? No sweat. The steamer and table are ready to go. Grilling? Gas grill on hand. Don't need a whole week? No problem. The longer you stay the better the discount but you can book as little as 4 nights in the high season and as little as 3 nights in the off season with a $200 cleaning fee. How's that for easy? Don't let the average price per night fool you when comparing. It doesn't tell the whole story.

We want one thing for your family and friends...Have a worry free vacation. Which is why insurance is mandatory. If something goes wrong, we can't have it to spoiling your vacation. Let it go and move on! We strive to provide an 'experience' not just a beach house rental.

Simple!

The Surf City/Topsail area is well known for being a quiet family oriented vacation spot. The beaches are clean and rarely crowded. The ability to enjoy the sound and the ocean lend itself to an amazing experience that you won't find anywhere else.

We picked this house because of the view and it's proximity to the beach access while staying far enough off the main road that it is quiet and peaceful. The beach access is at the end of the street. It is set up to sleep 10. Two Master Bedrooms with King Beds, a Guest room with a Queen Bed and a kids room with a bunk bed and two extra twin mattress' if needed.

We tried to think of everything that you might use at home and would want on vacation. This reverse floor plan home is new to the rental market and professionally decorated. Parking is plentiful with a 4 car driveway. Bring the less mobile family members, this home has an elevator to make it easy for them to enjoy their vacation too.

This home was CLEAN, spacious, comfortable, and the perfect location. You really get the best of both worlds! The house is a short walk to the beach, but also offers a beautiful view of the intercostal waterway from the rear deck. The view is amazing and picturesque sunsets. The hosts were very accommodating! They genuinely want you to feel at home. Bikes, chairs, coolers, boogie boards, hot tub and more! We hope to stay here again!

This house is truly WONDERFUL! The pictures are very accurate of the home and it's furnishings. From extremely comfortable beds to magical sunsets, the house is very relaxing. The beach access is right across the main street. Easy to ride bikes and/or walk to. We enjoyed the sidewalks for afternoon walks as well. We had a wonderful visit. The kids were huge fans of the elevator as well!

Another great vacation

Hard to repeat a great first experience, but Marccus and Meg have been able to do just that for our return this year. This is our most favorite vacation place on Topsail Island. Great location, and because there is no public parking at the beach access, there was plenty of space to spread out on the beach. For those who love fireworks on the 4th, we had a great view from the deck overlooking the Intercoastal waterway. Their home is comfy (the beds especially) and it is so nice that everything needed for a great vacation is provided. Do yourself a favor, and book this home for your next awesome vacation!

Beautiful home, gorgeous views!

This home exceeded all of our expectations. Great location, tucked in to not hear road noise, but at the same time, a 5 minute walk to the beach! Extremely clean and basically has everything you could need- awesome kitchen to cook in! Linens, etc are nice quality. I’d compare this home to being at a very nice hotel/resort, top notch and will not disappoint! We definitely plan on returning next year.

Perfect beach house!

Our recent visit with our daughter’s family was perfect in every way: the house is beautifully furnished, clean, and well-stocked. The owners were attentive to every question we had. The views of the marsh and waterway were beautiful and so relaxing. Every evening we enjoyed stunning sunsets over the marsh. Beach access is close by, literally at the end of the street. The house sits on a cul-de-sac that is perfect for children to ride bikes, scooters and skateboards. We will definitely be back!

Beautiful view, new decor, five-minute walk to the beach

As each of us walked up the stairs into the living area, we each said the same thing -- "Wow!" The view overlooks the water, vegetation, and channels between the island and the mainland. The variety of blue and green colors seen from the two large balconies is gorgeous. It was a highlight of our stay. The decor of the interior is new, crisp, modern. The mattresses are comfortable. The kitchen has everything we need. The elevator and main-floor bedroom is perfect for my mother. We took the 5-minute walk to the beach each day. At the end of the week, no one wanted to go back home.

Amazing Rental!

In a sea of so many rentals, pick this one! They take such care in the amenities! Being off the beach was a nice way to force yourself to stay and enjoy a little longer! Beach chairs, an awesome beach cart, boogie boards, fish fry, grill, hot tub, comfy couches, beds and amazing sheets! So great!! We would love to stay again! Most AMAZING sunsets and way to wake up looking over the marsh(bonus peeps the sunrise around the corner too) ! 10/10

Great house

From the minute you get upstairs and see the view, you know it's going to be a great week. Very nice home. Some nice added touches: Weber Genesis gas grill, Nice appliances like Vitamix blender and combo keurig drip/pod coffee maker. Kitchen stocked with everything. Only thing we couldn't find were scissors, so we donated some to the house. The bikes and beach cart/chairs, boogie boards were all top shelf. The beach cart is way nicer then anything you will bring, so don't bother. No complaints at all. One thing will mention. If you're not hot tub people, let them know before the trip. It's a $250 charge for the hot tub and we never used it. Great owners. We broke a couple of the beach chairs, and replaced them. Owner offered to refund us the cost of the chairs. We felt terrible we had broken them, and they just said it happens! Very nice. We've been coming to topsail for 13 years. Always stay ocean front, so this was first time on the intercoastal. Highly recommend and will definitely book again.

Topsail’s best vacation spot

Gorgeous sunset views from the deck as well as just a short walk to the beach with easy public access. Well stocked kitchen as well as extra clean bedrooms and bathrooms with all amenities provided helped to make for a relaxing and memorable family vacation.

Topsail Island

We enjoyed our stay at Shore Thing. The back of the house has a sound view with the best sunsets you can imagine. It was fun to watch all the boata and wildlife. Each bedroom has comfy beds and its own bathroom. There are tons of towels available and linens are included. Bring your own beach towels. There is also a Yeti backpack cooler, 10 bikes and chairs included. We had absolutely everything we needed and it was nice not having to take all that stuff. The hot tub was also a hit during our spring trip. A great house at the end of a cul de sac directly across from the beach access. We enjoyed our stay! Be sure to try the roller skating on the island!

Room(s) With A View

Whether sitting on the deck from the early morning to the setting of the sun, one could not ask for a more perfect, peaceful view. It truly is one of the best that I have been able to experience in my many years of vacation properties, and one you can enjoy from the dining and living room, or even while washing dishes at the sink. The home itself is exactly as advertised —- clean, spacious, amenity filled and homey. No detail has been overlooked, and I cannot stress enough how incredibly nice it was not to worry about sheets, towels, boogie boards, chairs, bikes, and even the daily needs —- toilet paper, paper towels, laundry detergent, etc. There were even coffee filters for the Kuerig coffee maker :) Marccus touched base with us when we arrived, and was very welcoming. We had a small issue come up, and he was quick to respond. We even had the pleasure of meeting him in person! Just an all around great guy!! I love that this home is at the end of a cul-de-sac in a neighborhood that is a good mix of homeowners and rental properties. Beach access #27 is across the street, and the beach is very nice with plenty of room to relax and enjoy the sound of the waves. The hot tub is a very nice touch especially after a round of golf at North Shore Country Club! All that is needed for a truly wonderful vacation is your bathing suit, flip flops, your favorite beverage and the people you love! Oh, and a reservation for this beautiful home!

Beautiful and Immaculate Home! Lots of amenities and Amazing sunsets!

We had a wonderful week in this beautiful home! So many amenities that we truly enjoyed…new hot tub, beach chairs/bikes, elevator, comfortable beds, spacious family room and kitchen area. In addition, the beach was close and the view from the back deck was amazing! Marccus was a pleasure to work with and we hope to return for another week!!

Great House- Great Host!

Meg owns an Interior Design firm in Raleigh NC and I rent construction equipment. Meg is a native of NC while I am a Marine Corps brat that literally couldn't nail down one place to say where I'm from. We have been married since 2003 and have one son, Jake. We are busy people who have always wanted our own home in the Topsail/Surf City area but couldn't justify owning one since we couldn't be there that often. So... we decided to dive in head first and do this VRBO thing.


Why they chose this property

We looked at many properties over the past few years and could never settle on "the one". We wanted to be close to the beach access but love a sound side view. This home checked all the boxes for us and it just so happens that it was a new home with a great reverse floorpan at the back of a cul de sac! Score!

What we didn't know we wanted was an elevator. Soooo convenient. Carrying groceries up two flights of stairs. NOPE! We didn't know we wanted a bathroom in every bedroom either and now I can't imagine not.
