1 Bedroom 1 Bathroom pet-friendly apartment which is the lower right side of the home located across from Clymer park and adjacent to Senior Center and Gulfport Library. Newly renovated bathroom. The Gecko Cove sits 2 blocks from downtown and has plenty of parking. It is located three blocks from tennis and basketball courts, and a playground. Property accommodates 2 persons. Amenities included. The house is located in Gulfport. Gulfport is a very quaint, small, friendly beach community very close to downtown St Petersburg and St Pete beach. It is full of parks, piers, culture, and delicious dining. The colorful town is buzzing with activity from Fresh Markets every Tuesday showcasing fresh produce, breads, seafood, and condiments to Art Walks the first Friday and third Saturday of every month featuring musicians, artists, and food vendors.

Gulfport celebrates several annual festivals including Get Rescued supporting pet rescues in February, SpringFest highlighting local artists in March, a 4th of July parade, and a Labor Day street fair called Gecko Fest.

Visitors can mosey through the Clam Bayou Nature Preserve, take in the view from Williams Pier, or explore the historic Waterfront District’s varied shops and restaurants. Reviewers rave about Isabelle’s, O’Maddy’s, Tangelo’s and Neptune Grill to name a few.

Perfect Getaway

This property was the perfect spot for our weekend getaway! My partner and I felt so comfortable and appreciated all the amenities. We visit Gulfport at least once a year and hope to make this our regular stay!

Great Place for A Short Visit

The property was clean, and in a nice neighborhood with easy access to restaurants and the beach. It was also in a good location to visit various areas on the gulf side of Florida. The host was communicative and helpful when needed.

Clean & Comfortable in Perfect Location

Great stay at this property. The bikes were an excellent addition to the rental. This property is an easy bike ride to Gulfport Beach, restaurants, and shops. The property was extremely clean and had everything we needed for a great weekend trip. Highly recommend this property and I hope to stay here again on our next trip to Gulfport.

The unit is small but just right for 2. The kitchen and bath were well supplied and nicely decorated. The king size bed is what I look for in a property and it was very nice. The view from the front sunroom was enjoyable. We would rent here again.

Gecko House-perfect location.

We had a wonderful time in the Gecko House. Tastefully decorated in a beachy theme. Loved the colors of the unit. Walking distance to Gulfport restaurants and shops. Easy drive to St Pete beach. Everything was perfect!

A Perfect Place

This jewel nestled in the Historic Waterfront District of Gulfport was absolutely shining! The interior was picture perfect and a delightful place to stay. We will be coming back in late fall and hope to book this wonderful oasis again. The amenities were abundant, the bed most comfortable, and the neighbors quiet. What more could anyone want?

Perfect Place!

The property was exactly as advertised. Absolutely adorable and everything you need for your visit to Gulfport! This unit is walking distance to all downtown activities and restaurants/bars. One bonus not mentioned previously was the beach chairs in the unit available for your days at the beach! We will definitely book again!

Great Gulfport Getaway

This wonderful stay in Gulfport’s unique art district will not disappoint! The decor and interior design represent everything there is to love about Gulfport. The property owner provided everything needed for a comfortable stay. The communication and check-in/check-out process was seamless. It’s within walking distance to the shops and restaurants downtown, yet quiet and peaceful. We will definitely be returning!

Charm and location... and a great kitchen!

We loved staying at Robert's Gecko Cottage! The kitchen was nicer than the ones we have at home, with everything we needed for our week-long stay. We walked often to the nearby shops, restaurants, and the water, or across the street to the park. Easy access to The Gulf beaches, Tampa/St. Pete. On the nicer mornings, we enjoyed our coffee on the porch, and on the cooler/wet days, we sat in the bonus sunroom to watch the sun come through the live oaks in the park. Would stay again!

Great location; great host

This property is located in the heart of Gulfport. Easy walking distance to restaurants, the beach, the library, and the Sr Center. We joined the Sr Center and used its exercise facilities and classes several times. There is a park nearby that has pickleball courts. The host was easy to communicate with before and during our stay. We did experience an issue in the unit but the host responded right away and the issue was handled to our satisfaction.

Great location in a funky cool neighborhood.

Nice spot next to a park and within a 5-10 minute walk to shops and dog-friendly restaurants in Gulfport. The house is part of a triplex and is clean, comfortable, and has a nice private outdoor deck. It's not the roomiest accommodation, but it is fine for two people with two smaller dogs. The only downside, and this is no fault of the host, is that Gulfport does not allow dogs on the beach (which seems to be common in Florida).

Just what I needed!

I really loved this little apartment. It was so pretty and very comfortable. The front room was wonderful for yoga, reading and relaxing. I loved watching all the people walking & riding by. The huge live oaks and the park are beautiful. Just a few blocks walk into town and down to the beach. Great restaurants, shopping , bars and music! I loved Gulfperk, A Friend Who Bakes, The Ice Cream Shop,Neptune Grill outside patio, Pia’s, Northend Taphouse and Gulfport Brewery . Would totally recommend Maddy’s Spa, it’s in walking distance . Also really enjoyed Sunset Dolphin Cruise from Salty Pelican Tours in Gulfport. Bob was super responsive and so easy to deal with.

Adorable part of house across from a park. The kurig machine and pods gave good coffee in the morning. Fluffy towels. Just three blocks from restaurants, shops, etc on Beach Blvd.
