We reserved a condo for a weekend. When we arrived, checking in was very easy. That was the last good thing. The condo was sadly in need of repair. The living room curtain lining was torn and hanging down; when I pulled it out to check on it, I saw that it was covered in black mold. The curtain pull (pulley) in the master bedroom was dangling where it had pulled out of the wall. The back of one couch was loose with exposed staples. Blinds were broken and dangling in another bedroom. The shower curtain rod and curtain were on the floor in the second bath. And the walls had many black scuff marks in multiple places; that’s just cosmetic, but indicates a lack of care. We checked out a day early, as I did not want us all to be exposed to the mold in the main living area. I contacted the property manager, who was going to send someone to take down the curtain, but said that I had to contact the owners about a refund. I emailed them twice (with pictures) but got no response. I finally contacted VRBO, who contacted the owners. They refused to give any refund. I normally do not leave negative reviews, but there were so many things wrong here. At least the outside of the property was nice, as were the pool and gym.
