Will Be Back!
Everything about our experience this weekend was great. From check-in through check-out we enjoyed every bit of this quaint farm house experience. It was perfectly located for me to go out hunting while my fiance and our dog enjoyed the front yard and peacefulness of the countryside. Kerri was a great communicator and even followed up after finding an item I left behind. I really appreciated the hospitality, and have already shared this experience with friends who also visit McCook each year. Thanks for a great weekend!

Off the grid, under the stars
Very nice farmhouse and great place to get away to. Listen to the birds chirp, coyotes sing, and cows moo. The hosts communicated well and everything was super seamless for my group of friends and our dog.

Why they chose this property

This farm has been in our family for two generations with two of our children growing up here. The private drive offers peace and quiet and the beautiful surroundings refresh the soul and mind. Spectacular sunrises and sunsets are to be expected and the birds will sing you their songs as you sit on the front porch enjoying all the solitude nature has to offer! This is a farmhouse so there are unpaved, gravel roads leading to the property. No public transportation is available. The closest neighbors are a mile away offering plenty of privacy. Although the roads are well maintained, during inclement weather, four wheel drive is helpful.

What makes this property unique

This is an outdoor enthusiasts paradise. With the lake being only minutes away, excellent hunting land and horseback trails available for an additional cost, many different species of birds on the property and all the space you could ever want, we welcome you to your new home away from home!
